The class was formed by a group of 8 boys and 5 girls. The teacher of this course was
called Sabrina, and she was very enthusiastic all the time showing interest to each student
according to the students’ questions that they ask during the English class. The teacher
and students had an affective relationship among them. The first observation surprised me
a lot because I saw very little children with great enthusiasm and happiness to participate
and do the tasks. They were happy because they wanted to learn English .In each class ,
the teacher Sabrina switched on the CD player record and the group of student started to
dance and sing the song “Hello sun” .After that , they went on singing and jumping three
songs more about how they felt , for instance “they felt happy “,they smiled about feeling
happy , then they imitated the gestures about feeling sad and angry .When the music
stopped ,they sat down around the table in order to do the written activities. They enjoyed
participating and doing the tasks that the teacher gave them .The teacher gave them a
drawing with a family where they had to recognize the granddad and then the teacher
practiced with students the word “granddad” .The teacher gave the instructions to students
how to do the task and stick the cotton on the drawing in order to recognize their
granddads .Thy practiced the new words granddad meanwhile they were working with
the drawing. Then the students stuck cotton in the granddad’s moustache and beard. She
gave them amount of cotton and glue in order to do the task. They were happy and
enthusiastic to do the task .The class was very active. And when the time was over, the
teacher switched on the CD player, they stood up and walked toward the CD player to
dance and sing the song “good bye” because their parents came to the room to look for
them.
I think that I as a future teacher I have to be able to be flexible during each class and I
have to be able to adapt the topics according to the group. I have to help students to work
happy and with encouragement in order to go on learning. I have to stimulate and help
them to go on working and provide them all the tools to do the tasks. And also I have to
help them when they ask for help because they are very demanding and they want
answers all the time. In addition, I have to experiment a new challenge in this period.

The second lesson started with greetings and the “hello sun” song, they enjoyed singing
with the teacher Sabrina like the class before and dancing and singing the song hello sun.
Then, they started the class talking about the family and their members. After this the
teacher and the students practiced how to name each member of the family. Children
remembered each member of the family and then the teacher gave each student drawings
with a family .She gave them the instructions and she told them to look for their pencil-
case to do the task. After that she told them that they had to circle the granddad with a
pencil color and then they had to paint the granddad. After that they had to put their name
in each sheet of paper of their drawing. When the time was over, the teacher Sabrina
switched on the CD player and all the students stood up and went to the place to dance
and sing the song “good bye” because their parents came to the room to look for them.
In conclusion, the teacher Sabrina developed and planned activities according to this
group because she knew that this group was demanding all the time. The teacher used
different pedagogical resources such as CD players, drawings and others to work in the
class. In addition, I want to develop like her different activities using their new language in
the class in order to stimulate students to learn with enthusiasm and feeling happy
because the atmosphere with the teacher Sabrina is very comfortable and kind. I want to
reach the same comfortable environment.

The third lesson of observation started with greetings and they sang the song “hello sun”,
they enjoyed dancing, jumping and singing this beautiful song. They went on practicing the
new words about the family and they reviewed the family members and then she
presented the boy and the girl as member of a family, all the students wanted to participate
all the time. Then they practiced the words “boy” and “girl” .After that the teacher asked
them to look for the pencil case and she gave to each student a drawing with a boy and a
girl .She told them to paint the girl and the boy, practice the new words and then she
corrected each work. They worked with enthusiasm all the time. When the time was over,
the teacher Sabrina switched on the CD player and all the students stopped to do their
works and they stood up and went to near the CD player to dance and sing the song “good
bye” because their parents came to the room to look for them.
To the conclusion, I was very surprised to see how very little students worked a lot with the
teacher Sabrina. I realize that I will face a great challenge to work successfully with this
happy and enthusiastic group of students. I think that they will work very well in my class
because they are very kind and enjoy participating all the time. In addition I have to create
appropriate activities in order to be successful in this first period.

  • 2. Página2 Date:10th ,June. The class was formed by a group of 8 boys and 5 girls. The teacher of this course was called Sabrina, and she was very enthusiastic all the time showing interest to each student according to the students’ questions that they ask during the English class. The teacher and students had an affective relationship among them. The first observation surprised me a lot because I saw very little children with great enthusiasm and happiness to participate and do the tasks. They were happy because they wanted to learn English .In each class , the teacher Sabrina switched on the CD player record and the group of student started to dance and sing the song “Hello sun” .After that , they went on singing and jumping three songs more about how they felt , for instance “they felt happy “,they smiled about feeling happy , then they imitated the gestures about feeling sad and angry .When the music stopped ,they sat down around the table in order to do the written activities. They enjoyed participating and doing the tasks that the teacher gave them .The teacher gave them a drawing with a family where they had to recognize the granddad and then the teacher practiced with students the word “granddad” .The teacher gave the instructions to students how to do the task and stick the cotton on the drawing in order to recognize their granddads .Thy practiced the new words granddad meanwhile they were working with the drawing. Then the students stuck cotton in the granddad’s moustache and beard. She gave them amount of cotton and glue in order to do the task. They were happy and enthusiastic to do the task .The class was very active. And when the time was over, the teacher switched on the CD player, they stood up and walked toward the CD player to dance and sing the song “good bye” because their parents came to the room to look for them. I think that I as a future teacher I have to be able to be flexible during each class and I have to be able to adapt the topics according to the group. I have to help students to work happy and with encouragement in order to go on learning. I have to stimulate and help them to go on working and provide them all the tools to do the tasks. And also I have to help them when they ask for help because they are very demanding and they want answers all the time. In addition, I have to experiment a new challenge in this period.   • 3. Página3 Date:12th ,June. The second lesson started with greetings and the “hello sun” song, they enjoyed singing with the teacher Sabrina like the class before and dancing and singing the song hello sun. Then, they started the class talking about the family and their members. After this the teacher and the students practiced how to name each member of the family. Children remembered each member of the family and then the teacher gave each student drawings with a family .She gave them the instructions and she told them to look for their pencil- case to do the task. After that she told them that they had to circle the granddad with a pencil color and then they had to paint the granddad. After that they had to put their name in each sheet of paper of their drawing. When the time was over, the teacher Sabrina switched on the CD player and all the students stood up and went to the place to dance and sing the song “good bye” because their parents came to the room to look for them. In conclusion, the teacher Sabrina developed and planned activities according to this group because she knew that this group was demanding all the time. The teacher used different pedagogical resources such as CD players, drawings and others to work in the class. In addition, I want to develop like her different activities using their new language in the class in order to stimulate students to learn with enthusiasm and feeling happy because the atmosphere with the teacher Sabrina is very comfortable and kind. I want to reach the same comfortable environment. Observation Nº3
  • 4. Página4 Date:17th , June. The third lesson of observation started with greetings and they sang the song “hello sun”, they enjoyed dancing, jumping and singing this beautiful song. They went on practicing the new words about the family and they reviewed the family members and then she presented the boy and the girl as member of a family, all the students wanted to participate all the time. Then they practiced the words “boy” and “girl” .After that the teacher asked them to look for the pencil case and she gave to each student a drawing with a boy and a girl .She told them to paint the girl and the boy, practice the new words and then she corrected each work. They worked with enthusiasm all the time. When the time was over, the teacher Sabrina switched on the CD player and all the students stopped to do their works and they stood up and went to near the CD player to dance and sing the song “good bye” because their parents came to the room to look for them. To the conclusion, I was very surprised to see how very little students worked a lot with the teacher Sabrina. I realize that I will face a great challenge to work successfully with this happy and enthusiastic group of students. I think that they will work very well in my class because they are very kind and enjoy participating all the time. In addition I have to create appropriate activities in order to be successful in this first period.
