Concept
Educational technology is made up of
two words, education derived from latin word
‘educare’ meaning to train, and the word
technology derived from two greek words
‘technique’ and ‘logia’ art of skill and science
of study.
3. Meaning of education
Education technology is dynamic,
progressive and important mechanism in the
field of education which modifies and analyses
the steps of teaching and learning with the help
of indoctrinated principles and laws of modern
sociology, engineering, administrative theory,
mathematics and other social and physical
sciences.

7. Hardware approch
It is the application of physical
science in education and teaching with which
the teaching process is being mechanised
gradually so that maximum pupils may be
educated in minimum time and at low cost.
8. Software approch
Software approch is concerned
with the teaching objectives in behavioural
terms, principles of teaching, methods of
teaching and techniques, reinforcement of
instructional systeam, feed back devices and
evaluation.

System approch helps to study
the problems of educational administrations
and management in a scientific and exclusive
way by using it we can make the educational
system effective.
