It has objectives like modernizing learning methods, improving teaching conditions, and making classrooms more effective. Educational technology approaches include hardware, software, and systems approaches. The hardware approach mechanizes teaching, the software approach focuses on objectives, methods, and evaluation, and the systems approach scientifically studies educational administration problems. Educational technology functions include analyzing learners, organizing content, designing media, linking objectives to conditions, providing feedback, and its importance includes increasing effectiveness, optimizing output and resources, and modernizing institutions.

Concept
Educational technology is made up of
two words, education derived from latin word
‘educare’ meaning to train, and the word
technology derived from two greek words
‘technique’ and ‘logia’ art of skill and science
of study.

Education technology is dynamic,
progressive and important mechanism in the
field of education which modifies and analyses
the steps of teaching and learning with the help
of indoctrinated principles and laws of modern
sociology, engineering, administrative theory,
mathematics and other social and physical
