2. ‘Break up scene’.

For the costume, we finally decided to go with casual clothing for our main artist as well as the
‘boyfriend’ who plays a part in the music video. Both Desiree Diamond and the acting boyfriend
will wear the following:
The reason why we chose these outfits for the break up scene is because it shows
of each characters personality and what they are about. The artist Desiree
Diamond is seen wearing similar clothes to the ones displayed. Desiree goes to
see her boyfriend wearing casual clothing as it suits the atmosphere, the choice of
colours somehow reflects the situation she is in and almost makes it look dark, sad
and tense between both characters.
3. Reminiscing scene.
• In this scene we see Desiree reminiscing and thinking about her problems. She
is seen looking rather unhappy. These are the clothes she wears in the scene.
These are similar clothes to what Desiree Diamond wears in
this scene. The clothing reflects the mood she is in as she
doesn’t look happy and wants to feel comfortable within
herself. The break up between her and the boyfriend has
made her feel heartbroken. This scene shows her not caring
about herself or her image as she normally wears
sophisticated clothing.

These are some of the clothes Desiree wears
in the scene. She wears sophisticated
clothing to outline her strong personality
and to show that she doesn’t care about her
ex boyfriend anymore and wants to move
on. This again mirrors the strong personality
she has as she wants to walk away as a
tough, hardworking woman.
