and show a positive correlation based on a
gender point of view. My target audience for my

my protagonist is female and I can use this with
the ideals of female objectification to maintain a
wider audience with males.

questionnaire where between the ages of 17-25. This Will
means the following answers to my questions will be based on a
younger generations opinion, however this age gap is the most
similar to my target audience anyway, therefore this could have a
positive outcome with my market research.

Sound-cloud and downloads. Therefore the outcome shows that even
though nobody watches YouTube, which could infer that most of my
participants do not see music videos that often. Even though YouTube

question I would assume the participants do not watch music videos and
therefore have a negative effect in the purpose of the rest of my
questionnaire.
5. QUESTION 4
This will relate to the type of
videos they enjoy or are
distributed based on the typical
video style their favourite genres
tend to make. Showing that most
members of the audience prefer
rock or indie music, I expect that

performance video or conceptual
and these types of videos are
most common in the genre.

opinionated answer to further
questions relative to music
videos.

This question proves useful for the
making of my music video as it
shows that even though the divide
between those who like
performance videos and those her
like conceptual videos is equal,
people do enjoy watching
conceptual videos like my videos is

encourages the ideas generation we
created and sets us up to be
making a interesting and
entertaining music video which in
effect would contribute to sales of
the song we use.
8. QUESTION 7
Out of all the participants the most popular theme for a music video is performance featuring
the artists. Only 1 of the participants liked the Romance theme. This indicates the conceptual
video with an enigma narrative may not be as popular with those who answered the survey
even though other questions showed that a conceptual theme would work successfully within
popularity.

Majority of the participants say that
the use of having a music video to
go with your single does in fact help
the sales of the release. This is
useful to my work as I can then

to the songs and based of other
questions I have asked identifying
preferences I can be confident in the
popularity and success.

Peoples responses to the success
of a music video show mostly
that it helps the audience relate
and connect to the artists music

on replies to the question
audiences show logic in the
ideals that a video can give you
access to music if you use
portals such as YouTube.
