When the name of Jehovah's witness arises, most of the public of differing religions, a picture of an
overly nice person or group of people all dressed in suits and nice clothes, arrive at your door and
offer a sampling of pamphlets, (large or small). To most of the general public, the religion is a far
cry from Christianity, but this is untrue, as a visit to one of the services that the congregation
provides.

Some of the beliefs of the church are most like that of most Christian religions with the exceptions
that they do not regard the cross as highly as most
Christians do. The Jehovah's Witness religion believes more in the guidelines of the Bible.
One of the elder members of the Church was happy to answer some questions that I had. He was an
elderly man with a full head of white hair, and a wide unreal smile. The members of the church were
extremely friendly. However, as I talked with him, I realized that they were not entirely tolerant to
the beliefs of others.
On the standards of beliefs on the controversial subjects today such as abortion, same sex marriages,
doctor assisted suicides, and Gay rights, they stand on similar ground along with other Christian
religions. They do not believe in marriages of the same sex, not in abortions, nor doctor assisted
suicides, and the concept of being gay is considered blasphemous in many parts of the bible as in
Corinthians 1:8 and 1:9 so gay rights seems a mockery to the church. Jehovah's Witnesses believe
that Christ/Jesus was the first divine creation of Jehovah/God and that he died on a torcher stake as

Comparison Of Christianity And The Watchtower Society
Some religious groups do not believe in heaven at all but they belief that a person will return in
another life form, that is they belief in reincarnation. In other cases, it is believed a person's spirit
lives on in this world. Christianity is the only religion that teaches salvation is a free gift of God
received through faith (Eph. 2:8–9 NKJV) in Jesus Christ (John 14:6; Acts 4:12 NKJV).

Analysis Of All Along The Watchtower
"All Along the Watchtower" is known as a classic rock song, but was originally crafted by Bob
Dylan in 1967. Artists like Pearl Jam, U2, Dave Matthews Band and Eric Clapton have all covered
this song, but notably the most famous version would be Jimi Hendrix' rendition. A year after the
song's original release, Hendrix covered the unknown Bob Dylan song and propelled its legacy.
Both songs draw different artistry and interpretations, but the concept is fundamentally the same. In
the original Bob Dylan song, the general vibe was folk or even folk rock. The song form is simple
verse, as the text of the song contains three verses. The tempo is generally slow, and steady
throughout the entire song. Rhythm is kept throughout the song with the acoustic guitar. The beat is

anger and frustration at the lack of change. When the beat proceeds to slow down, the guitar fades
away and occasionally strums a feeling of calm is illustrated; perhaps in this uphill battle and
protestation of the war, they have accepted defeat. This coupled with Jimi's passive vocals and calm
tone at (3:17) suggest that he is accepting what is going to happen– Vietnam War is inevitable and
cannot be stopped. The Outro lasts from 3:22 to 4:01. The guitar cues up mixed with the drum
beating urgently portraying the gunshots of war. This emphasized that war continues and no
intervention will stop it from occurring. Therefore, the idea that the war will end on its own means is
established with the drowning of the noise. The insistent guitar strums and drum become repetitive
and eerie., illustrating the frustrations that Americans face in terms of opposing the war that has
become cyclical and draining. The song fades with his vocals "watchtower" in a voice that is
resigned and far away, as that of a viewer or third person watching in. Suggesting that American

God did not raise Jesus to life in the fleshly body in which he died. He gave Jesus a new spirit body,
as the angels in heaven have." This is also in direct contradiction with scripture. In Luke 24:39
(NIV) Jesus says, "Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not
have flesh and bones, as you see I have."" It is clear that Jesus was not a spirit, but was a corporeal
being. Their view on hell also comes with scriptural contradictions because they believe that
unbelievers (people not Jehovah's Witnesses) will be annihilated and there is no hell. Jesus
references hell in Matthew 5:30. Also 2 Corinthians 5:8 references being "absent with the body and
present with the Lord." There is a separation from the body once we die, which is something they do
not believe. The 144,000 people is taken completely out of context. This is actually 144,000
witnesses that will minister to the Jews of the world. There is no evidence that this class of people
will be the only ones that fulfill 2 Corinthians 5:8.
Lastly, their views over the present Kingdom Age and salvation by works are completely off base.
Their failed attempts to predict Armageddon should have been clear enough for them to not hold the

Kingdom Age belief. Instead, they believe that Jesus began his kingly reign in 1914 and that we are
in the 1000 reign of Christ. There has not been an Armageddon and

The amount of benefits did not outweigh the cost because of the amount of benefits were equal to
the amount of costs. I have three different reasons that support my opinion. First, people were
sacrificing their lives from the Great Wall. Next, the structure of the Great Wall. Finally, why were
some families forced to leave?

From working on this assignment I learned many things about The Cold War. I learned about the

Some pracitioners feel that the pentacle represents the four elements and the top of the pentacle
representing the Divine, Spirit, Ether or Akasha, residing above the rest of the Elements. The
Watchtowers may also represent and house other beings assosiated with the Directions and Elements

My Story Of My Life
Hi Kim, I just wanted to tell you a little bit about my story. I got sucked in when I was 21. At the
time I was already having a crisis of faith. On top of that I became incredibly disillusioned with
college. I was in the wrong major but at the time it just felt like my life was going nowhere. I prayed
to God whom I didn 't even know if I believed in, and the rest is history. They were the first people
to come along and I was so weak at the time I could be swayed whatever way the wind blew. I had
an incredibly pushy bible teacher that basically tried to befriend me then would threaten to quit
studying the Bible with me if I wasn 't making progress. And guess who defined what progress
meant. It wasn 't coming to know who God is and coming to love him and his son. It was doing the
assigned watchtower tasks. So I did them and was just kind of drug along for the ride. Eventually I
was baptized, pioneering and going along with the flow. I had my doubts I can 't remember a time
when I didn 't at least have slight doubts. But at the time I was doing what they said, partaking fully
in there brainwashing program.
Finally I was at the 2014 convention and I was at the hotel talking to the girl who studied the Bible
with me. It was the 100 year anniversary of 1914. Everyone was hyped up about the comments in
the KM saying, "could this be our last memorial?" I made the comment to my teacher who had
become my friend asking her, do you really think that this system is going to end soon.

All Along the Watchtower by Bob Dylan is a poem jam packed with allegories. Reading it may
seem like putting together a puzzle. It can be interpreted in a vast amount ways. Dylan does not like
when people interpret in a single way; therefore, this may have been his goal. It is written within a
basic structure; however, the position of each stanza is rather abnormal. The diction of the poem
changes from low to high as the speaker changes from the joker to the thief. There is a simple rhyme
scheme that adds a melodic feeling.
All Along the Watchtower is composed within a simple, closed form. The poem contains three
quatrain stanzas. Within each stanza are two couplets. Bob Dylan uses a consistent AABB rhyme
scheme throughout each stanza. For example, in the first stanza the first line ends with thief and the
second ends with relief. The third line ends with earth and the fourth ends with worth. Dylan carries
this rhyme scheme throughout the rest of the poem with spoke, joke, fate late, view, too, growl,
howl. Each line is broken into two parts with a pause in the middle. There are not any enjambments
throughout the piece. At the end of each line there is a pause as if Dylan is ending a sentence.
Many poems begin with clear imagery of the setting. Dylan strays away from this trend: the setting
of the poem is not made clear until the final stanza. There is not a clear speaker throughout the first
two stanzas, rather, a recount of dialogue between the joker and the thief. The

neighborhood motel room, recruited volunteers for protest rallies and gave workshops in how to use

To do this day, there are still no records to be found of how Dylan really crashed while he was riding
his motorcycle near his Woodstock, New York home. There are numerous stories that have been
circulating around for years, such as he lost his balanced or that he slipped on an oil slick.

was affected by the Zombie disease. The government built a wall to surround the town and to keep
all the people inside. Inside the town, there were group of reporters, normal people, and zombies.
The government kept all of them together inside because there were afraid of somebody would
affect anyone outside the town. So, the government created a cure that did work to recuperate from

Calling in the Guardians of the Watchtowers is usually done at the beginning of opening the Circle
in a Wiccan ritual. It is my understanding that Guardians of the Watchtowers are called in so that the
guardians of each cardinal direction will protect and bless the circle. According to Minnie Eerin, as

East houses the Sylph which is an air elemental, while West houses the Undines which is water
elemental. Now it gets tricky. For the Northern Hemisphere, south is the home of fire and the
