BRIEF CAREER OVERVIEW
I am a 48 yearold currently employed at TUVRheinland Arabia at the easternside Al-Hofuf as a Technical
Industrial Trainer Operations for NITI National Industrial Training Institution Mubaraz Saudi Arabia for
the past 8 months teaching Operation training to new Saudi Arabian students that have entered the oil and
gas environment. I am enjoying it very much. I have enjoyed great success in the Oil and Gas Industry
Sasol Synfuels South Africa where I worked for 28 years. My job title was Operations/Plant Foreman. I
managed 10-12 individuals’ daily and up to 15 people during start-up and shutdowns. I was accountable
and responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operation of various units and meeting refinery operating
plan and targets, training operators from junior to senior console operator, writing troubleshooting guides
to assist during plant upsets. I am driven to succeed in any position placed into, i have a hunger for
knowledge that has led me to learn advance process controland assist process engineers in plant hazard and
management of change reviews. I have also been attained experience in commissioning various new plants
within Sasol over the years. My daily job now consists of mentoring Saudi Arabian students as operators
and providing operating guidance and knowledge to new students and to assist in all way possible with
training. I became a production foreman about 5 yearsago and am very proud of my teamsworking abilities
and skills that they have developed since I became there shift foreman. Now in Saudi all my focus is on the
training environment for the operations of refinery’s and plant control and equipment’s. I have also recently
achieved an International Training Certificate for Train our Trainer from the German company for witch i
work in Saudi Arabia.
