2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible in conducting Preventive Plan Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and a Break Down Activity in all
instruments and related equipment for efficient performance.
• To interpret Piping and Instrument Diagrams, Signal Flow Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Cause and Effect, Panel
Drawings, Loop Folder and data sheets.
• With knowledge of the test equipment and devices used in the maintenance and repair of instrumentation and electrical
equipment.
• To communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing and to establish and maintain effective working
relationships with supervisors, and co-workers.
• Proficient in conducting on-the-job training to the newly hired maintenance personnel for effective maintenance
execution and implementing work procedures of instrumentation equipment and automated process control systems
maintenance.
• Perform planning and sequencing work required to accomplish tasks both independently and as the lead technician of
huge and lesser work groups.
• Chosen to lead the Fm Instrumentation support group (Contractors) to manage the activity during SHUTDOWN and
providing support to the Operation Department they required specially during the start up.
• Knowledge of the hazards of working on and near electrical and electro-mechanical equipment and the appropriate
safety measures to observe.
• Prepared maintenance plan and documentation keeping as per company rules and safety working procedures.
• Very well familiar with the types of work permits and to prepare permits for the next day plan activity.
