How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?<br />2743200947420The target audience of our music video and ancillary texts people of both genders between the ages of 15 and 30.  In order to cater for this target audience we have used a lot of bright colours throughout both the video, the digi-pack and the t-shirt designs. Another theme we kept throughout the digi-pack was nature as some of the video is centered around the outside and natural surroundings. We did this by using the same leaf pattern in the background but changing the colour of it in every aspect of the digi-pack. From audience feedback we have found that the colours we used in the music video were effective and suited the music video.  Also from the audience feedback we found that the colours we used in the video were suitable for our target audience.<br />0233680The lead singer of the band is the face of the band, therefore in the video a lot of β€˜meat’ shots have been used. Similarly in the digi-pack the lead singer is at the front of the pictures of the band to show the importance of this person and to attract the user’s eye to her.  The face and appearance of the lead singer is a type of promotion, which is why she plays such a big part in both the video and the digi-pack. Due to the fact that the lead singer is female this will attract the male audience as they will see her as a sex-symbol, similarly the female audience will be attracted to the band due to the fact that they will see the female lead singer as empowering as there is not many female lead singers in this genre of music.One of our ancillary products is T-shirt designs, which we have made available to people who buy the album through a leaflet, 01828800which will be put inside the CD case. Due to the fact that we are trying to attract both males and females in the age range of our target audience, these T-shirt designs come in both male and female options. The text we have used on the T-shirts link in with the rest of the album, an example of this is on the male T-shirt design we have used the same text to say the album title as we have when the album title on the album front cover.<br />

How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?<br />2743200947420The target audience of our music video and ancillary texts people of both genders between the ages of 15 and 30. In order to cater for this target audience we have used a lot of bright colours throughout both the video, the digi-pack and the t-shirt designs. Another theme we kept throughout the digi-pack was nature as some of the video is centered around the outside and natural surroundings. We did this by using the same leaf pattern in the background but changing the colour of it in every aspect of the digi-pack. From audience feedback we have found that the colours we used in the music video were effective and suited the music video. Also from the audience feedback we found that the colours we used in the video were suitable for our target audience.<br />0233680The lead singer of the band is the face of the band, therefore in the video a lot of β€˜meat’ shots have been used. Similarly in the digi-pack the lead singer is at the front of the pictures of the band to show the importance of this person and to attract the user’s eye to her. The face and appearance of the lead singer is a type of promotion, which is why she plays such a big part in both the video and the digi-pack. Due to the fact that the lead singer is female this will attract the male audience as they will see her as a sex-symbol, similarly the female audience will be attracted to the band due to the fact that they will see the female lead singer as empowering as there is not many female lead singers in this genre of music.One of our ancillary products is T-shirt designs, which we have made available to people who buy the album through a leaflet, 01828800which will be put inside the CD case. Due to the fact that we are trying to attract both males and females in the age range of our target audience, these T-shirt designs come in both male and female options. The text we have used on the T-shirts link in with the rest of the album, an example of this is on the male T-shirt design we have used the same text to say the album title as we have when the album title on the album front cover.<br />
