Task 1 job roles
1. Research sector
photography
I am very interested in becoming a photographer when I finish education and there are lots of different jobs
that a photographer could choose to train in as photography is used in lots of different ways in modern life.
The type of role I would enjoy doing would be more documentative photography having my work shown in
galleries that have a message with he photos mainly on the current state of the world or the impact we
have had on it as these things interest me and are good to talk about.
The google definition of a photography photographer is this:
What does a documentary photographer do?
Documentary photographers capture images that truthfully portray people, places and events. Their photographs offer viewers an accurate
visual record or history
The 1st noticeable uses of photography to document real world events we believe started in
1821 with the work of Philip Delamotte who photographed the disassembly of crystal palace.
The work is very diverse as you can document almost anything especially with photography but
getting into a specific job may be hard without going into studying in university on the specific
field you would like to photograph
These photos are from a British photographer
named Nicholas jr white who documents the
building of a national park in Romania and
works with a team of wildlife rangers
throughout the seasons.
Lots of facts and info I obtained were from the
