1. Black and White photographs are the creation of monochrome images
using photographic techniques. Through the use of either a traditional
film camera or digital camera, the artist exposes an image media,
such as film or a digital image sensor, to light. The light then affects
the image media In such a way as to leave a permanent imprint of the
scene n that media. This Media is then processed to create a final
image or photograph.
Stewart Marsden is a Black and White photographer who specializes in
taking pictures of street life within London capturing glimpses of
Human interaction in the often-cold impersonal city, which are best
presented in black and white. Stewart says his love for black and
white photography started when he was a child going on family
holidays to Wales and Somerset, which would bring to him all kinds of
fantastic scenery and him and his family used to take family photo’s
there as well.

Sports photography refers to the genre of photography that
covers all types of sports. In the majority of cases,
professional sports photography is a branch of photojournalism,
while amateur sports photography, such as photos of children
playing association football, is a branch of
vernacular photography.
