10. Training Facility

Toxic Area Training has begun at the Training Facility. Games
and puzzles are used to familiarize students with the dexterity,
vision, ergonomic and communication limitations associated
with working in Demilitarization Protective Ensemble suits.

11. Enhanced Reconfiguration Building

In the Parts Monitoring Enclosure room, workers
inspect the bursters and lugs that were removed from
ACWA Test Equipment.

12. Agent Processing Building

Going through systemization testing is the Munitions Washout
System. The testing process will make sure everything is aligned
with the Control Room and the systems “talk” to each other.

13. Weisbrod Family Fun Day
13
This Bechtel Pueblo Team-sponsored event attracted hundreds
of youngsters to the Weisbrod Aircraft Museum on their last day
of Spring Break to learn more about science, technology,
engineering and mathematics.

14. Walk A Mile In Her Shoes
14
PCAPP Employees spearheaded this Bechtel Pueblo Team-
sponsored event on April 12 to raise money for Pueblo Rape
Crisis Services. More than $3,400 was raised!

15. April 2014 Construction Update

This pre-construction photo of the PCAPP EDS site between the two igloos
was taken March 20, 2014. Just beyond it you can see the construction
trailer and the rough work that had already started on the parking area that
will serve the site.

That same patch of ground on April 22 showed significant progress. Since
construction began on March 27, the three pads, two of which will be home to
the Environmental Enclosures that will house the EDS units, are already
graded with concrete foundations poured, putting the site on track for
completion later this summer.

The road, seen here three days after work began, will serve to
reroute vehicles from H11 and H10 Street after actual site
construction closes the road to through traffic.

24. EDS Community Outreach

Working to keep stakeholders informed, PCAPP Site Project Manager Bruce
Huenefeld met with the Board of Directors for the Pueblo City-County Health
Department on April 23 to both brief and answer questions on the PCAPP
EDS System. Huenefeld looks forward to doing the same for Health
Department staff later this summer .
