7. Control Room

Inside the Control Room, workers are remotely operating the
robots in one of the Explosion Containment Rooms in the
Enhanced Reconfiguration Building.
9. Agent Filtration Area (AFA)

Eight Exhaust Air Filter Units in the
AFA now contain filters, consisting of:
128 pre-filters
256 HEPA filters
2,304 charcoal adsorber cells
1440 stainless steel cells, weighing 85
lbs. each
864 plastic cells, weighing 73 lbs. each
Total weight of all carbon cells is
185,472 lbs. or 92.736 tons
ALL ACCOMPLISHED SAFELY!
10. Biotreatment Area (BTA)
In the BTA, painters with G.C. Zarnas take a break from prepping the
brine containment area in preparation for polyurea coatings. The
coatings will make cleanup easier in the event of an accidental spill.

11. Toxic Training Underway
Entry Support Area (ESA) tenders prepare for training wearing
Demilitarization Protective Ensemble (DPE) suits. The ESA tenders will
make entries into the main processing buildings during operations and
need to have full body protection in the event of a chemical incident.
