Project Management Consultant for the Nasr Phase 1 and Umm Lulu
Phase 1 projects to manage EPC Contractor & EPC activities until
start up commissioning of both these projects.
2 Greenfield sites located offshore which will be developed in two
phases. Phase 1 will produce a total 44,000 to 50,000 bpd of oil.
Nasr - minimum facilities, Umm Lulu will have 2 new wellhead
towers, infield pipelines, export pipeline, water injection facilities and
modifications to existing facilities for tie-ins.

AIOC-BP: ECMS
Azerbaijan
Project
BP is the operator of the Azeri, Chirag and Gunashli (ACG) fields
and the Shah Deniz field on behalf of the signatories to
Production Sharing Agreements.
AMEC skills and services (in consortium with ATA*)
The project covers Engineering Modifications and Asset Support
services to all existing and future BP operated assets in the Azeri
sector of the Caspian Sea.
AMEC has been supporting BP in Azerbaijan since 1997
COP-WC*

Project
The COP is the phase 4 of the Azeri, Chirag and Gunashli Development
and its objective is to increase oil production and recovery by drilling more
wells. COP-WC topsides will be the largest offshore structure ever built in
Baku, the load-out weight will be in excess of 20,000 tonnes.

Fabrication of a new 48-slot drilling and processing platform, called "West
Chirag" (WC). WC consists of a steel jacket in water depth of 170 metres
and a single integrated deck.

SIBA
Iraq
Project
A consortium led by KEIL* are developing the Siba Gas Field
some 30km southeast of Basra City and 65km from the Kuwait-
Iraq border. The SIBA development is a new Gas Field linking
into existing and new infrastructure.
AMEC skills and services
AMEC, through its wholly owned subsidiary – Touchstone, was
awarded the Concept, FEED and PMC Contract in April, 2012.
Concept: executed out of country by S2V
FEED: executed out of country by AMEC in Middle East.
The PMC Team will be located in the main EPC Contractor’s
office pre-construction then on site during construction. Also
included is secondment of personnel and training.
Harouge Oil Operations
Libya
Project
A contract awarded by Libya’s National Oil Company, Harouge Oil
Operations, to undertake a study into the feasibility of using the large
volumes of natural gas produced as a by-product of petroleum extraction,
which is currently flared-off as a waste product.
AMEC skills and services
The study, covered two of Libya’s largest oil fields the Ghani and Amal
fields. An initial concept study looked into potential economic and
environmentally sustainable uses for the gas, such as pipeline
transportation to the coast for export, local power generation, or re-
injection back into the oil fields as a method of enhancing oil recovery
from these fields. The second part of the study was a FEED, which
produced a more detailed engineering solutions and costs for the most
cost effective solutions identified during the concept phase.
