2. EXPERIENCE.
June 2011. Community Transformers, Mathare valley.
Worked as a community developer and did the following duties. .
• Home Based Care provider.
• Handled referral cases to vulnerable, orphaned children to various institutions e.g.
children’s homes.
• Offering support to HIV/AIDS patients through support groups.
April 2011 to July 2011. Street and Family Rehabilitation Trust Fund.
Community Developer.
Duties conducted.
• Handled referrals for street children to various institutions i.e. Children’s home with the
help of the government and other service providers.
• Engaged the street children in sports where we identified a field and gave them the
necessary sport equipments. On Thursdays we provided them with food.

• Assessed HIV/AIDS clients to note their living conditions, source of income and their

adherence to drugs.

• Volunteered in two medical camps organized by the Hospital in Rongai and Kiambu
where in both places we assessed around 4,000 people.
