• Responsible for assisting college peers with disabilities in adapting to a college environment.
• Assisting with academic difficulties and tutoring.
• This was a contracted job which lasted for only one semester; under a program known as College steps.
LEADERSHIP/ORGANIZATIONS:
Uplift Program President January 2017 – December 2017
• Created initially to aid in the academic and social welfare of male students of color at Norwalk Community College.
• To ensure that these students successfully complete their studies at the college and graduate to move on to their next desired
destination.
• As a result of this program, a substantially larger number of male graduates of color could be seen at the school’s annual
commencement ceremony.
