PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

 Daily supervision and operation of sealant and intermediate production.
 Supervise union operators on a 7 day / 24 hours operation on an
assigned shift in the manufacture and packaging of sealant products.
 Direct the activities of all maintenance personnel in keeping equipment
operational
 Responsible to act in the role of plant manager in regards to employee
evacuation and contacting police/fire department personnel in case of an
emergency
 Responsible for the training of all operators in the performance of their
responsibilities including following all safety and quality procedures
established in the department.
 Monitor the accuracy and completeness of all process instructions and in
process quality checks assuring compliance with S.O.P. and ISO
procedures•
 Responsible for the performance of all safety equipment and also
Initiates required work orders to maintain equipment operable
 Coordinate the production schedule as directed by the Production
Manager in reaching the production objectives of the department.
 Manage all personnel issues (vacation scheduling, sick day monitoring,
etc.) in coordination with Production Manager, following both the contract
and human resources policies
 Maintain department performance statistics as identified by the
Production Manager including (production volumes, labor hours worked,
O/T labor hours, department project hours, OEE measurements etc.)
 Report, Investigate and document all safety and environmental incidents
in the entire plant
 Participates in all plant initiatives such as ISO 9000, Lean Manufacturing,
and Problem Solving Teams etc. in upgrading the performance of the
plant

 Sign and oversee proper standard operating procedure are followed.
 Train employees on proper standard operating procedure and retrain when revisions
are necessary.
 Delegate employee’s job functions to complete workload.

cuvettes used in the medical industry.
 Ensure production is being met at 100% in accordance with schedule.
 Ensure employee work in a safe manner following company policy and using proper
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

safe workplace.
 Use JD Edwards Software for transfer of raw material, finish product in inventory

detect production problems.
OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS
 During my tenure at this corporation, I worked closely with the engineers to update
three filling and packaging equipments maximazing the output from 5,000 gallons a
day to 40,000 gallons a day.
 Again working with the engineers, I updated mixers, bag slitters and processes in the
batch making departments in order to ramp up production.
 Have obtained a license to train forklift operators to become certified.
 I also conducted a monthly safety program.
 Have obtained a black seal (high pressure) boilers license and it’s still current.
 Due to careful analization of the filling process, I was able to readjust the amount of
manpower needed from 25 to 20 employees and still obtained the same amount of
volume.
 During my tenure at this corporation, I reduced costs per gallon of product made by
33% or higher.
