• Started as Centre for Distributed Computing, Networking &
Security.
• Security emerged as the priority research area.
• Reputation established by research activities and programme

cloud-based training environment simulating real-life
scenarios.
• vSoC (Virtualised Security Operations Centre) – HEA grant to
