My Most Memorable Moment At Job Corps
My most memorable moment was when I came to Job Corps. Before Job Corps I was a different person. I was more into the street life but I would
have to blame my environment the PJ's. Growing up in that environment you see a lot, hear a lot and be ahead of the kids that's in your age group.
Growing up in the hood changes your mind set to what's going on at the moment instead of what the future brings also it's a lot of trouble and
consequence's that's goes along with that lifestyle. Job corps changing me as a person I now have faith that I will be somebody and become
successful so I can get my family out. I'm learning patience, that if something is worth it will take time because it will take you a long way. I would

Most Memorable Moment Narrative Draft
When asked to narrate one of the most memorable moments in my life, initially I felt completely stumped. Day to day life for me can be easily
described as typical/average and if given the requirement to write a stimulating novel, it would definitely not be anyone's first pick. Sleep, eat, school
then repeat is basically my only everyday schedule. But after hours of contemplation and a decent night's slumber, I finally realized the single most
event that has almost changed me completely. The thing that has contributed to my very being presence here today; moving across the country. The
idea of moving was often pondered by my parents, resulting from unhappiness with being in Michigan so long, but I always took it for what it was,
another silly thought. That feeling changed when my mother decided to take a leave of absence from her management position and drive 700+ miles
to Georgia for a job interview. Even though others would usually be jovial and excited about the opportunity for their parent to further their career and
prosper, I secretly hoped that something would not go smoothly and she would recant. Michigan was my home and sure it wasn't the most magnificent
city, but it was all I knew. I lived my days in the same house, same neighborhood, riding around the city with the same people. Middle andhigh school
were filled with familiar faces I had known since kindergarten and quite frankly, I was comfortable. School wasn't straining as it came easy to me
and the weekends/vacations were a blast because my family never strayed too far. So, imagine how flustered I felt when my mother came back from
her trip and exclaimed these words, "Get the packing folks, were moving to Georgia!"
She explained " I've accepted a position as a Professor of a nursing college, who have graciously decided to pay for our move and we have a
maximum of 3 months left in Michigan." In that moment I had never been so fearful and curious about the future. My vision board was plastered with
pictures and aspirations of graduating with my Best friend, going to University of Michigan and growing up with the best ken folk one could ask for.
The only thought recurring over and over in my mind was "

Fencing is , in technical terms , the sport of fighting with rapiers (swords) in order to score points against an opponent, to me, it's simply the art of
sword fighting. My most memorable moment happened to me, during my junior year in high school ( when I was still fencing in my free time ). I and
some of my fencing class entered a tournament called The Golden Gate International which took place in the gym of a State University. I still
remember when my dad and I finally got to the gym, I was ecstatic, from the outside the gym looked more like a convention center. The tournament
took place on the indoor basketball court ( which got divided into several sections for multiple matches ) was massive, almost twice the size of my high
school gym. There were rows of seats on both side of the gym, and even stairs and a elevator that led to a balcony like, second floor where you could
get a bird's eye view of the whole gym.
I had six matches that day, and surprising the match where I lost is the not the most memorable. My most memorable match took place around 3 hours
into the tournament, mainly because of the experience with the referee. The first thing I noticed was that the referee looked like he was completely
pulled from the crowd, almost like someone's father. Still, he seems rather confident and has the tough look of an ex–military guy, so I'm appropriately
intimidated. The First touch was a parry–riposte or a stalemate with two hits on both sides leaving the round up to

A Memorable Moment In My Life
I remember this tragedy like it was this morning. My aunt was out of town, so I was staying with my first cousin Andrew. I woke up fairly early for a
weekend and had a cup of the best dark roast from Starbucks in my pink and white polka dot coffee cup, along with 2 tablespoons of rich french vanilla
creamer. With my coffee, I went to go sit outside to listen to the bird's chirp, get a bit of fresh air and clear my head for the long day ahead of me. In my
cousin's backyard, they have a tall fogged glass patio set, sitting upon the rustic wood patio. Sitting in the backyard made me feel as though it was
just me and nature herself, so put together, beautiful and calm. It was black Friday and my cousin and I were going to head to my house for our
families traditional pierogi making after breakfast. My mother As well as other family members were already waiting there for our arrival. We got into
the car and rolled down the windows and started to play our favorite music. Once we got into the car we were sitting there for a moment just on
our phones and having a casual conversation. My cousin had mentioned his friend getting into a car accident the month before, and we were
positive that we were going to be okay because he was a safe driver, and wanted to get both of us there safely. Andrew soon started to drive on the
way to my house, and the gas light turned on. My cousin pulled to the nearest gas station. As we pulled in I got chills all the way from the bottom of
my feet

Memorable Moment
That night was a game I will always remember. It brings me great joy and gives me deep pride. It is one of the greatest feelings I have ever
experienced in my life. It was and still is a moment that I look back on and reminisce. I used to work for a private company at Tinian Dynasty Hotel
& Casino as a Casino Dealer, and that memorable moment happened when I played basketball with my casino team. I have played basketball
tournaments in high school and in government leagues, however, none of them compares when I played in Tinian Dynasty's Inter–Department
Basketball Tournament. It was a popular event that happens every year between different departments of the company, and I was just in time to join the
tournament. My teammates and I did advance to the...show more content...
There was about 00.04 seconds left in the game, and the other team still had to inbound the ball back into the court for their chance to score. A
player from the other team, still dazed and confused, did not know what to do and tried to pass the ball to his teammate, but miraculously, one of
my teammates, Elmo, was able to intercept the ball and lay it up for a quick basket. As I watch the ball drop to the bottom of the net, that is when I
heard the sound of the horn go off. The final seconds of the game has ended, and our team and fans went jumping up and down, yelling and
screaming in celebration and joy. It was then we were declared the victors. The final score of the game was 106–105. It was an unbelievable basketball
game I ever played. The feeling was like playing in the NBA. Everyone else as well who witnessed the night of our comeback victory were amazed.
All I could ever think of now was just how I reacted without even thinking about what to do during those last eleven seconds. Just never giving up
was my mentality. Time was short, but felt long and fast. I was placed in a time zone where I will always remember that glorious

My Most Memorable Moment In My Life
The definition of fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. One of
my most memorable moments of my life was the first time I went to Disney Land I was terrified but because of this trip I found out how to face my
fears.
The loud sounds of flying planes over me reminded me one of the scariest things I've seen on tv crashing in a plane. I didn't want to even go near
the plane but I had to my parents paid thousands for me to go on this trip so I stepped forward on the flimsy bridge that connects the loud airport to
the metal coffin plane. I knew I was a wimp but I had enough respect to do what my parents wanted me to do. "Flight to Las Angeles now
departing." Were those the last words I would hear besides me screaming to my death? The plane took off it wasn't bad at all maybe I wouldn't die
but time will tell. After an hour on the plane I realized I was going to be ok. Two hours had passed and I really enjoyed this then over the loud
speaker, "Now landing in Las Angeles please tighten seat belts as we land." The pilot stated. The landing, the death of me? But when we touched the
ground it wasn't bad felt a mild bump that was all more fun than scary. On the way off the plane I looked into the cockpit that might be me one day.
That was the day I came over my fear of planes and actually made me want to be a pilot soaring over the skies seeing the tiny people this became my
dream.
We checked into our hotel and stayed their for the night thinking about the experince I had on the plane, and thinking about the rides I would go on
tomorrow. Most kids would be excited and thrilled but my ten–year–old self a coward self was scared. The next day we went on a bus to the front gates
of Disney Land. I entered very anxious for if I would puke or as my mind seemed set on dyeing. They said this place was magical I made up this
stupid thing where if I would step on certain tiles on the road I would be fine. I stepped up to Splash Mountain still only stepping on the red tiles of
the road. I climbed the walk way to the top of the "mountain" and stepped into the log flume ride. I thought I might drown in the foot of water fall off

Memorable Moments Research Paper
One of my memorable moments would be the day I found out I was pregant! I actually didn't find out till I was about 4 months. When I went to the
Dr. office to confim my pregancy and it came to be positive, I was just in total shock because I actually never thought that at 19 years old going on
to 20, I would be having a baby. I had mixed feelings. I was sad, overwhemled, but I was also honestly very excited. I was carrying a little person
inside my womb.Right after about 1 week after I found out about my pregancy, I had my very first appointment to check on how the baby was
doing. After anxiously awaiting, it was my turn to go inside and find out how the baby was doing and also finding out the sex of the baby was very

I was scared because I couldn't believe that this moment was actually happening. A couple hours passed by and I started to feel the urgency to
push. The lovely nurse got the doctor for me and told him that I was ready to have the baby. As I was in labor, all I could think about was the pain
and how I really needed my mother there, but she wasn't allowed to go in. While I was in labor, I started to feel very dizzy and I started to see the
room turning dark. I was telling the doctors, my boyfriend, and the nurses in the room that I couldn't do it, but everyone in that room was very
supportive and motivated me to keep trying and right before I knew it, my son was born. The nurse asked if I wanted to hold right as he was born
and just by holding him and seeing him for the very first time he is exactly how I imagined him. As soon I was ready to get released from the
hospital, the nurse had told me that me and my son were ready to go. The nurse came back with some of the worst news I could possibly get. She
had told me that my son wasn't going to be able come with me because he had stopped breathing in the car seat and that his face had turned

The Most Memorable Moment In My Life
We all have moments that impact our lives whether it is good or bad. Some gives us lesson and others make us the happiest person alive.
Whichever it is those moments makes us grow and learn or makes us be proud of ourselves. I chose to pick memorable moments that really change
my life for the best which as we speak it has been the one of my proudest moments. It all started when I was just a senior in James Pace High
School which is located in Brownsville, Texas. I was just beginning my last year of high school, and I needed to think about what I wanted to do
after high school. Usually, in high school the teacher start to tell you to apply to colleges and scholarships which I wasn't all there for those decisions
which I know it will make a...show more content...
The last meet was the best one for me because my former coaches saw that I improve a lot that I got a plaque called Honorable Mention which only
one student gets that. I was crying tears of joy because at least I was noticed by them of my hard work, so it was a huge accomplishment for my
senior year. I finished the season with a great finish which I couldn't prouder of myself. Since that ended , it was now time for track season which
I was so excited about also even though I knew it was harder than cross country. It was off season at the moment it was December we were
practicing already to get ahead of everyone. I would run mile repeats and ran 800 meters which were my main events to run in track. I would
practice daily morning and afternoon because I was a senior and one of their good runners they expect for me to be running a lot more than the rest of
the team. Later on, it was the actually season therefore it was time to be more serious than usual. I want to make an impression to my former coach, so
he can help me out with getting scholarship. Every meet I know I need to give it my all which I did that it made realize that hard work and
dedication did paid off. In area, I had my personal best which I was excitedto know that I finished the year like that. I later discover that I got an
email from William Penn University which I got more excited because I will have the chance to continue running which I am passion about it. I was

My Most Memorable Moments
Everyone has their own memorable moments. Here is one of mine: an accident that I will always remember. One day when I was almost the age of
5 living in the Bronx, it was around 7 p.m. when I was going home after being picked up by parents from daycare. I was in a hurry to use the
bathroom. Right as our apartment door was open, I sprinted through the hallway of our living room, straight to the bathroom. But then, while running, I
tripped over the doorstep of the bathroom, lost balance, tumbled right onto the door, and bounced off of it, leaving the side of my forehead to smash
into the side of the bathtub. BANG!!! I then fell down onto the floor, crying loudly because of the unbearable pain I felt from that hard ricochet. To
check if it was that bad, I so slightly felt my forehead, to find my hands full of dark red blood. I even felt the blood run down along with my tears from
my eyes. When my parents heard the huge crash sound, they immediately screamed my name. There was no response from me but crying. So,
they both rushed in to the bathroom doorway to see me laying there crying with blood all over my face. My mom instantly told my dad to call 911,
as she came to see how severe the damage was. Once she got a closer look on me, I could see that she freaked out. Based on her face, I thought that
she worried that she was about to lose me, so I thought I was about to die. Being in that situation, it made me even more scared. After calling 911, my
parents carried me to the

The Most Memorable Moment That Changed My Life
I was born into a prestigious family who has raised me to have proper etiquette , show respect, and have chivalrous qualities. Throughout my life, I
was always viewed as the "child of god," the boy that "never lies," the one who" would never do that , that's not like him." On the contrary, the
truth is that nobody is perfect nor innocent, including myself. People such as myself receive judgements such as these periodically due to the fact
that we have learned how to keep our personal lives private. For this reason, for people such as myself, we have difficulties expressing ourselves.
This is just a glimpse of my background so you could have a better understanding of my point of view . The most memorable moment that has
changed my perspective in life was when I had to move from Upstate New York to Connecticut (CT). I moved in 2014 with my sister to my half
brother's house. It all started in the summer when my sister and I went to go visit my half brother in CT. When we arrived, that part of thefamily
welcomed us in a way in which no one from my mother's side of the family has ever done before. That alone made me feel special; as if I was
actually loved by my father's side of the family. Therefore, we spent some time with them. We also went to six flags which, quite frankly, was the
highlight of the year. We had a blast until my father came up with the idea of sending my sister to CT. He wanted to do this because she was hanging
out with people that had bad habits such as

My Special Moments In My Family
Life is full of special moments. Some we know as they happen but others, we do not realize them until they're over. I love moments that I will
remember forever and making memorable moments with my friends and my family.
Even though our years together have been short, I've had a lot of fun moments with my friends. We have done some really cool things together as a
group especially during the summer when it is hot and nice outside. My friends and I like to go to the pool and spend all day there. We like playing
tag and trying to see who is the fastest swimmer. We also like to run around town and go pokemon hunting.
With the sports I play, I have had a lot of fun but challenging and stressful memories. When I was younger, my baseball team and I won three
championships in a row. Baseball is fun because it is during the summer, I get to play with my friends, and I get to play against friends from other
schools. My friends and I love to play together as a team and that's what I like about my team. With football, I find it a really fun sport because I
always want and get to hit someone. I always remember who I hit really hard. I also like to play this sport because I like the game and the competition.
Another memory I like making is that I love when I'm with my grandpa. We have a lot of fun and good memories together. We like to go fishing, but
I never catch any fish, which usually makes me really mad. Plus, whenever I go to my grandpa's house, he always has something for me to

My Most Memorable Moments In Theatre
When I categorize the memorable moments I have in theatre I find they rarely have to do with the moments on stage despite the fact that I an
actor. The moments that have made me laugh uncontrollably, want to scream and punch a wall, sob into my pillow all happen in interactions
with audience members after a performance. My most memorable moment in theatre all surrounds a little boy who never told me his name. I was
working at Florida Studio Theatre (FST) as an Acting Apprentice. We were getting ready to open our educational outreach Playmakers and so as
with any good show we needed preview audience. Due to FST's relationship with Emma E. Booker elementary we were going to do this show for
free at a Title I school. For those who don't know Title I means that most of the students are living on or below poverty line. These are the schools I
grew up in. Flash forward to after a performance for the 5th graders. There is this little Latinx boy staring at me wide eyed and a teacher trying to
convince to come talk to me. The thing that strikes me at first is that he looks a like I did at that age. He starts to slowly walk up. He is visibly
shaking and his eyes are watering. I close the gap so that it doesn't feel like a death march to him and this incredibly shy child just starts crying and I

It was right before my high school graduation that I came home to a locked door. I knocked and rang the bell for 15 minutes and no one answered

The Most Memorable Moments Of My Life
One of the most memorable moments of my life was liking a guy named Bronson. It went from being a little storm to a hurricane. So, this is the
beginning of the story, so late August early September I meet a girl named Makenna Gardner and we had become best friends, so you know that
one question ever two friends have to know about each other, their crush well instead of her telling me who it was she described him {not only
making it harder because I had to look for him} but since I've learned more for back then, I was going by my standards at the time so of cores I had a
chance of picking the wrong guy. {It was my beauty type} But anyway let's get back on track, a couple of days later I was telling one of my friends

information– not me, I promise you; they told it I didn't go around highlighting everything about him. So basically, I wrote in a composition book
where he lived, when's is birthday, and etc. And I was just burst out laughing {I was in my most lining teachers class so they didn't really care
because he knew I was always laughing over "nothing", but my girl Asia decided to show him {I asked her why she did that and she said that she
asked me but I just keep on laughing – okay}. Sothen I walk into the hallway and all of his guy friends are saying a bunch of words and at the time it
seemed like they were saying things in a different language and I was like boys calm your little crazy self–down what the heck is it. and all I hear is,
"you like Bronson"{completely in denial} and after that it's kind of was a turn off from him. Later on, that day I figure out that the teachers

Memories, memories, memories some make you laugh, get angry, even cry but the one thing is for sure they all share a place deep in our hearts. I

He has bigger and better plans for our lives after life here on earth, I believe that with all my heart and I 'm absolutely sure that this is so because
he promises this to us in his Word, the bible. Before my son was born my life felt like it had no meaning so i was living life in all the wrong ways
like partying. I got no satisfaction out of it only bad consequences. When my son was born that all changed and I begin to make choices to make a
bright and successful future for my son and I. Like I 've said many times before " I gave him life, but he gave me a reason to live". When God took
him home I could of just gave up and threw myself a big pity party but i didn 't. Yes, i struggle every day with his passing but i grow stronger every
second, it it his memories that keep him alive with me every day! No one can ever replace or give me back what i have lost but I know this is not
the end for us. It is up to me to make the most of my time here on earth and give back to those who have gone through what I 'm going through and
will continue to go through for the rest of my life. I may not be that strong today but in time i will gain the strength to give others strength and hope,
just the same as people are giving it to me. Love conquers all, it has no limits. Every day is better than yesterday. Death is promised to us all, it never
comes when you want, and it has no respect of others. It 's up to us to keep living when death is called in lives

My Most Memorable Experience
My most memorable moment where we were playing a review game were you have to shoot a basket to score points, and Liam went to shoot a
basket and you smacked it right out of his hands then proceed to dab. This memory I feel like perfectly describes your personality you can be so
funny and so lighthearted but still teach which is great. When the school year began I was excited and not at all nervous. But, in the beginning of
the year knowing it was my last year of middle school I was actually sad after four years (I went to a different school) it was all coming to an end. I
was mostly really pumped because last year at the pep rally seeing you dance made me say "I want Mr. Jones as my teacher next year" , so much so,
you could ask any one of my friends and they would tell you how I would say that all the time last year. 8th grade World History was a fun experience
because of the activities and games we did throughout the year. Also, the people in our class and of course, having you as a teacher.
We learned multiple different unit's this year and it is hard to pick a favorite, my favorite unit however this year was Life in Medieval Towns. I
enjoyed this unit because, I thought it was extremely interesting learning about the way people used to live during a time period long ago. The unit
especially caught my attention because, learning about what people did for work or what their houses looked like really intrigued me. Another reason I

Living on this Earth as long as you have, can you say that there have been memorable moments or people? Did it change your life or perspective? If
you hadn't met that person would your life be different? The lovely part of life is that nobody has traveled the path in life that anyone has paved for
themselves. Therefore, nobody has seen what another has seen and even felt the same in those moments. Like for example, one person could have
witnessed child birth but the other person had a child. Same moment but different reactions and it could've been only memorable to one person. In my

What Is A Memorable Moment Essay
Memorable Moment " Let us go, please." I yelled.
"Ok where do you want to go?" Mom asked.
"To the Lake, so pack." I said
My mom, my sister Hailey ,and packed. I packed the cooler for the drinks and food. While I opened the freezer, I saw all of the frost on the ice
container and I saw fog come out of the freezer. As my face got cooled I tried to get the ice container I put both arms in the freezer and reached and
reached. As I kept on reaching I felt all of the cold air go on my arms all the way down my legs. As I finally picked up the large white, plastic, ice
container I felt all of the frost on the box now on my hands. As I set the container full of ice on the island. Then I finally lifted up the ice container
and dumped the ice in the cooler I put the container in the freezer. As my mom told me to watch Hailey while she goes to get soda. I told Hailey to
pack whatever she wants to pack. As Hailey was packing I was sitting there listening to music on my phone. When I heard my mom pull in into the
driveway and into the garage I took of my headphones and packed the cooler into the enormous trunk. While my sister was getting buckled into her
carseat I got hers stuff and put it in the trunk. My mom and I got buckled and mom pulled out of the garage and we were on the road in no time, but
before we went to the lake we stopped at Sara's Ice Cream Shop. I got a large root beer float while my mom got an Icecream cone and so did my sister.
30 minutes later we have arrived at the lake.
As I stepped out of the car I could feel the blazing hot concrete. I ran to the cool relaxing water. My mom took out the towels and the cooler out of the
car and set our spot up on the smooth, dry, and crunchy sand. As my 2 year old sister got her princess floaties on I saw a 10 foot cliff jump spot. As I
walked up the steep, slippery, and light green mossy rocks. As I got to the top I got nervous, at that very moment somebody did a belly flop. While they
did the belly flop I saw some pebbles fall of the 10 foot cliff. As I stepped up to the edge of the 10 foot it looked like a 15 foot cliff. As I jumped of the
cliff I did a cannonball, as I was doing a cannonball I felt all of the air blowing in my face, I opened my mouth then

There are so many memorable moments that are important in your life. From being born to your first step to going to school. But milestones are so
much more than just a moment. Milestones are what make your life up, where you take a minute and say " wow I actually did this". For me, one of
my biggest milestones was high school graduation. It wasn't the actual graduation itself but the meaning behind it and what it meant for me for the
rest of my life. Not only was I growing older and moving on with my life. It ends a chapter in my book with some people and continues new ones with

else. I didn't have to share the spotlight with another person or save myself for another day. As we took pictures I saw anotherschool just finished their
graduation. I saw this girl that went to my middle school sitting at the bench with her mom and I told my parents " I know her but I don't talk to
her. " Of course, my dad walks up to them and talks to them and she said she remembered me. We took a couple pictures because my dad wanted it
and then her mom started taking pictures. Finally we got a chance to get into the hall and we were behind the scenes of a graduation. That moment
I realized graduation isn't anything for yourself, instead this is for your parents. My math teacher found me and was able to give me even more
bobby pins to help out my messy situation with my hat. Then we entered the hall. So many seats were open but they didn't let us invite all the
family we had. So when we were seated they began to call our names. One after another we clapped and cheered for our classmates. The nice part
was everyone clapped for everyone no one was left out in the claps. When it got to my turn I didn't just shake everyone's hand that was lined up, I
ended up hugging everyone. Then I saw the principle that I had. She never listened or cared what anybody had to say so taking a picture with her

My Most Memorable Moment At Job Corps

  • 1. My Most Memorable Moment At Job Corps My most memorable moment was when I came to Job Corps. Before Job Corps I was a different person. I was more into the street life but I would have to blame my environment the PJ's. Growing up in that environment you see a lot, hear a lot and be ahead of the kids that's in your age group. Growing up in the hood changes your mind set to what's going on at the moment instead of what the future brings also it's a lot of trouble and consequence's that's goes along with that lifestyle. Job corps changing me as a person I now have faith that I will be somebody and become successful so I can get my family out. I'm learning patience, that if something is worth it will take time because it will take you a long way. I would have to say Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Most Memorable Moment In My Life Most Memorable Moment Narrative Draft When asked to narrate one of the most memorable moments in my life, initially I felt completely stumped. Day to day life for me can be easily described as typical/average and if given the requirement to write a stimulating novel, it would definitely not be anyone's first pick. Sleep, eat, school then repeat is basically my only everyday schedule. But after hours of contemplation and a decent night's slumber, I finally realized the single most event that has almost changed me completely. The thing that has contributed to my very being presence here today; moving across the country. The idea of moving was often pondered by my parents, resulting from unhappiness with being in Michigan so long, but I always took it for what it was, another silly thought. That feeling changed when my mother decided to take a leave of absence from her management position and drive 700+ miles to Georgia for a job interview. Even though others would usually be jovial and excited about the opportunity for their parent to further their career and prosper, I secretly hoped that something would not go smoothly and she would recant. Michigan was my home and sure it wasn't the most magnificent city, but it was all I knew. I lived my days in the same house, same neighborhood, riding around the city with the same people. Middle andhigh school were filled with familiar faces I had known since kindergarten and quite frankly, I was comfortable. School wasn't straining as it came easy to me and the weekends/vacations were a blast because my family never strayed too far. So, imagine how flustered I felt when my mother came back from her trip and exclaimed these words, "Get the packing folks, were moving to Georgia!" She explained " I've accepted a position as a Professor of a nursing college, who have graciously decided to pay for our move and we have a maximum of 3 months left in Michigan." In that moment I had never been so fearful and curious about the future. My vision board was plastered with pictures and aspirations of graduating with my Best friend, going to University of Michigan and growing up with the best ken folk one could ask for. The only thought recurring over and over in my mind was " Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. My Most Memorable Moment Fencing is , in technical terms , the sport of fighting with rapiers (swords) in order to score points against an opponent, to me, it's simply the art of sword fighting. My most memorable moment happened to me, during my junior year in high school ( when I was still fencing in my free time ). I and some of my fencing class entered a tournament called The Golden Gate International which took place in the gym of a State University. I still remember when my dad and I finally got to the gym, I was ecstatic, from the outside the gym looked more like a convention center. The tournament took place on the indoor basketball court ( which got divided into several sections for multiple matches ) was massive, almost twice the size of my high school gym. There were rows of seats on both side of the gym, and even stairs and a elevator that led to a balcony like, second floor where you could get a bird's eye view of the whole gym. I had six matches that day, and surprising the match where I lost is the not the most memorable. My most memorable match took place around 3 hours into the tournament, mainly because of the experience with the referee. The first thing I noticed was that the referee looked like he was completely pulled from the crowd, almost like someone's father. Still, he seems rather confident and has the tough look of an ex–military guy, so I'm appropriately intimidated. The First touch was a parry–riposte or a stalemate with two hits on both sides leaving the round up to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. A Memorable Moment In My Life I remember this tragedy like it was this morning. My aunt was out of town, so I was staying with my first cousin Andrew. I woke up fairly early for a weekend and had a cup of the best dark roast from Starbucks in my pink and white polka dot coffee cup, along with 2 tablespoons of rich french vanilla creamer. With my coffee, I went to go sit outside to listen to the bird's chirp, get a bit of fresh air and clear my head for the long day ahead of me. In my cousin's backyard, they have a tall fogged glass patio set, sitting upon the rustic wood patio. Sitting in the backyard made me feel as though it was just me and nature herself, so put together, beautiful and calm. It was black Friday and my cousin and I were going to head to my house for our families traditional pierogi making after breakfast. My mother As well as other family members were already waiting there for our arrival. We got into the car and rolled down the windows and started to play our favorite music. Once we got into the car we were sitting there for a moment just on our phones and having a casual conversation. My cousin had mentioned his friend getting into a car accident the month before, and we were positive that we were going to be okay because he was a safe driver, and wanted to get both of us there safely. Andrew soon started to drive on the way to my house, and the gas light turned on. My cousin pulled to the nearest gas station. As we pulled in I got chills all the way from the bottom of my feet Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Memorable Moment That night was a game I will always remember. It brings me great joy and gives me deep pride. It is one of the greatest feelings I have ever experienced in my life. It was and still is a moment that I look back on and reminisce. I used to work for a private company at Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino as a Casino Dealer, and that memorable moment happened when I played basketball with my casino team. I have played basketball tournaments in high school and in government leagues, however, none of them compares when I played in Tinian Dynasty's Inter–Department Basketball Tournament. It was a popular event that happens every year between different departments of the company, and I was just in time to join the tournament. My teammates and I did advance to the...show more content... There was about 00.04 seconds left in the game, and the other team still had to inbound the ball back into the court for their chance to score. A player from the other team, still dazed and confused, did not know what to do and tried to pass the ball to his teammate, but miraculously, one of my teammates, Elmo, was able to intercept the ball and lay it up for a quick basket. As I watch the ball drop to the bottom of the net, that is when I heard the sound of the horn go off. The final seconds of the game has ended, and our team and fans went jumping up and down, yelling and screaming in celebration and joy. It was then we were declared the victors. The final score of the game was 106–105. It was an unbelievable basketball game I ever played. The feeling was like playing in the NBA. Everyone else as well who witnessed the night of our comeback victory were amazed. All I could ever think of now was just how I reacted without even thinking about what to do during those last eleven seconds. Just never giving up was my mentality. Time was short, but felt long and fast. I was placed in a time zone where I will always remember that glorious Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. My Most Memorable Moment In My Life The definition of fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. One of my most memorable moments of my life was the first time I went to Disney Land I was terrified but because of this trip I found out how to face my fears. The loud sounds of flying planes over me reminded me one of the scariest things I've seen on tv crashing in a plane. I didn't want to even go near the plane but I had to my parents paid thousands for me to go on this trip so I stepped forward on the flimsy bridge that connects the loud airport to the metal coffin plane. I knew I was a wimp but I had enough respect to do what my parents wanted me to do. "Flight to Las Angeles now departing." Were those the last words I would hear besides me screaming to my death? The plane took off it wasn't bad at all maybe I wouldn't die but time will tell. After an hour on the plane I realized I was going to be ok. Two hours had passed and I really enjoyed this then over the loud speaker, "Now landing in Las Angeles please tighten seat belts as we land." The pilot stated. The landing, the death of me? But when we touched the ground it wasn't bad felt a mild bump that was all more fun than scary. On the way off the plane I looked into the cockpit that might be me one day. That was the day I came over my fear of planes and actually made me want to be a pilot soaring over the skies seeing the tiny people this became my dream. We checked into our hotel and stayed their for the night thinking about the experince I had on the plane, and thinking about the rides I would go on tomorrow. Most kids would be excited and thrilled but my ten–year–old self a coward self was scared. The next day we went on a bus to the front gates of Disney Land. I entered very anxious for if I would puke or as my mind seemed set on dyeing. They said this place was magical I made up this stupid thing where if I would step on certain tiles on the road I would be fine. I stepped up to Splash Mountain still only stepping on the red tiles of the road. I climbed the walk way to the top of the "mountain" and stepped into the log flume ride. I thought I might drown in the foot of water fall off the ride and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Memorable Moments Research Paper One of my memorable moments would be the day I found out I was pregant! I actually didn't find out till I was about 4 months. When I went to the Dr. office to confim my pregancy and it came to be positive, I was just in total shock because I actually never thought that at 19 years old going on to 20, I would be having a baby. I had mixed feelings. I was sad, overwhemled, but I was also honestly very excited. I was carrying a little person inside my womb.Right after about 1 week after I found out about my pregancy, I had my very first appointment to check on how the baby was doing. After anxiously awaiting, it was my turn to go inside and find out how the baby was doing and also finding out the sex of the baby was very exciting. Once I walked...show more content... I was scared because I couldn't believe that this moment was actually happening. A couple hours passed by and I started to feel the urgency to push. The lovely nurse got the doctor for me and told him that I was ready to have the baby. As I was in labor, all I could think about was the pain and how I really needed my mother there, but she wasn't allowed to go in. While I was in labor, I started to feel very dizzy and I started to see the room turning dark. I was telling the doctors, my boyfriend, and the nurses in the room that I couldn't do it, but everyone in that room was very supportive and motivated me to keep trying and right before I knew it, my son was born. The nurse asked if I wanted to hold right as he was born and just by holding him and seeing him for the very first time he is exactly how I imagined him. As soon I was ready to get released from the hospital, the nurse had told me that me and my son were ready to go. The nurse came back with some of the worst news I could possibly get. She had told me that my son wasn't going to be able come with me because he had stopped breathing in the car seat and that his face had turned puruple.Once she told me that news I left like someone had ripped my heart Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. The Most Memorable Moment In My Life We all have moments that impact our lives whether it is good or bad. Some gives us lesson and others make us the happiest person alive. Whichever it is those moments makes us grow and learn or makes us be proud of ourselves. I chose to pick memorable moments that really change my life for the best which as we speak it has been the one of my proudest moments. It all started when I was just a senior in James Pace High School which is located in Brownsville, Texas. I was just beginning my last year of high school, and I needed to think about what I wanted to do after high school. I was crying tears of joy because at least I was noticed by them of my hard work, so it was a huge accomplishment for my senior year. I finished the season with a great finish which I couldn't prouder of myself. Since that ended , it was now time for track season which I was so excited about also even though I knew it was harder than cross country. It was off season at the moment it was December we were practicing already to get ahead of everyone. I would run mile repeats and ran 800 meters which were my main events to run in track. I would practice daily morning and afternoon because I was a senior and one of their good runners they expect for me to be running a lot more than the rest of the team. Later on, it was the actually season therefore it was time to be more serious than usual. I want to make an impression to my former coach, so he can help me out with getting scholarship. Every meet I know I need to give it my all which I did that it made realize that hard work and dedication did paid off. In area, I had my personal best which I was excitedto know that I finished the year like that. • 9. The Most Memorable Moments In My Life When asked to narrate one of the most memorable moments in my life, initially I felt completely stumped. Day to day life for me can be easily described as typical/average; and if given the requirement to write a stimulating novel, it would definitely not be anyone's first pick. Sleep, eat, school then repeat is basically my only everyday schedule. After hours of contemplation and a decent night's slumber though, I finally realized the single most event that has almost changed me completely. The thing that has contributed to my very being presence here today; moving across the country. The idea of moving was often pondered by my parents, resulting from unhappiness with being in Michigan so long, but I always took it for what it was, another silly thought. That feeling changed when my mother decided to take a leave of absence from her management position and drive over seven hundred miles to Georgia for a job interview. Even though others would usually be jovial and excited about the opportunity for their parent to further their career and prosper, I secretly hoped that something would not go smoothly and she would recant. Michigan was my home, and sure it wasn't the most magnificent city, but it was all I knew. I lived my days in the same house, same neighborhood, riding around the city with the same people. Middle and high school were filled with familiar faces I had known since kindergarten; and quite frankly, I was comfortable. School wasn't straining as it came easy Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. My Most Memorable Moments Everyone has their own memorable moments. Here is one of mine: an accident that I will always remember. One day when I was almost the age of 5 living in the Bronx, it was around 7 p.m. when I was going home after being picked up by parents from daycare. I was in a hurry to use the bathroom. Right as our apartment door was open, I sprinted through the hallway of our living room, straight to the bathroom. But then, while running, I tripped over the doorstep of the bathroom, lost balance, tumbled right onto the door, and bounced off of it, leaving the side of my forehead to smash into the side of the bathtub. BANG!!! I then fell down onto the floor, crying loudly because of the unbearable pain I felt from that hard ricochet. To check if it was that bad, I so slightly felt my forehead, to find my hands full of dark red blood. I even felt the blood run down along with my tears from my eyes. When my parents heard the huge crash sound, they immediately screamed my name. There was no response from me but crying. So, they both rushed in to the bathroom doorway to see me laying there crying with blood all over my face. My mom instantly told my dad to call 911, as she came to see how severe the damage was. Once she got a closer look on me, I could see that she freaked out. Based on her face, I thought that she worried that she was about to lose me, so I thought I was about to die. Being in that situation, it made me even more scared. After calling 911, my parents carried me to the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. The Most Memorable Moment That Changed My Life I was born into a prestigious family who has raised me to have proper etiquette , show respect, and have chivalrous qualities. Throughout my life, I was always viewed as the "child of god," the boy that "never lies," the one who" would never do that , that's not like him." On the contrary, the truth is that nobody is perfect nor innocent, including myself. People such as myself receive judgements such as these periodically due to the fact that we have learned how to keep our personal lives private. For this reason, for people such as myself, we have difficulties expressing ourselves. This is just a glimpse of my background so you could have a better understanding of my point of view . The most memorable moment that has changed my perspective in life was when I had to move from Upstate New York to Connecticut (CT). I moved in 2014 with my sister to my half brother's house. It all started in the summer when my sister and I went to go visit my half brother in CT. When we arrived, that part of thefamily welcomed us in a way in which no one from my mother's side of the family has ever done before. That alone made me feel special; as if I was actually loved by my father's side of the family. Therefore, we spent some time with them. We also went to six flags which, quite frankly, was the highlight of the year. We had a blast until my father came up with the idea of sending my sister to CT. He wanted to do this because she was hanging out with people that had bad habits such as Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. My Special Moments In My Family Life is full of special moments. Some we know as they happen but others, we do not realize them until they're over. I love moments that I will remember forever and making memorable moments with my friends and my family. Even though our years together have been short, I've had a lot of fun moments with my friends. We have done some really cool things together as a group especially during the summer when it is hot and nice outside. My friends and I like to go to the pool and spend all day there. We like playing tag and trying to see who is the fastest swimmer. We also like to run around town and go pokemon hunting. With the sports I play, I have had a lot of fun but challenging and stressful memories. When I was younger, my baseball team and I won three championships in a row. Baseball is fun because it is during the summer, I get to play with my friends, and I get to play against friends from other schools. My friends and I love to play together as a team and that's what I like about my team. With football, I find it a really fun sport because I always want and get to hit someone. I always remember who I hit really hard. I also like to play this sport because I like the game and the competition. Another memory I like making is that I love when I'm with my grandpa. We have a lot of fun and good memories together. We like to go fishing, but I never catch any fish, which usually makes me really mad. Plus, whenever I go to my grandpa's house, he always has something for me to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. My Most Memorable Moments In Theatre When I categorize the memorable moments I have in theatre I find they rarely have to do with the moments on stage despite the fact that I an actor. The moments that have made me laugh uncontrollably, want to scream and punch a wall, sob into my pillow all happen in interactions with audience members after a performance. My most memorable moment in theatre all surrounds a little boy who never told me his name. I was working at Florida Studio Theatre (FST) as an Acting Apprentice. We were getting ready to open our educational outreach Playmakers and so as with any good show we needed preview audience. Due to FST's relationship with Emma E. Booker elementary we were going to do this show for free at a Title I school. For those who don't know Title I means that most of the students are living on or below poverty line. These are the schools I grew up in. Flash forward to after a performance for the 5th graders. There is this little Latinx boy staring at me wide eyed and a teacher trying to convince to come talk to me. The thing that strikes me at first is that he looks a like I did at that age. He starts to slowly walk up. He is visibly shaking and his eyes are watering. • 14. The Most Memorable Moments Of My Life One of the most memorable moments of my life was liking a guy named Bronson. It went from being a little storm to a hurricane. So, this is the beginning of the story, so late August early September I meet a girl named Makenna Gardner and we had become best friends, so you know that one question ever two friends have to know about each other, their crush well instead of her telling me who it was she described him {not only making it harder because I had to look for him} but since I've learned more for back then, I was going by my standards at the time so of cores I had a chance of picking the wrong guy. {It was my beauty type} But anyway let's get back on track, a couple of days later I was telling one of my friends that, that guy {I...show more content... So basically, I wrote in a composition book where he lived, when's is birthday, and etc. And I was just burst out laughing {I was in my most lining teachers class so they didn't really care because he knew I was always laughing over "nothing", but my girl Asia decided to show him {I asked her why she did that and she said that she asked me but I just keep on laughing – okay}. Sothen I walk into the hallway and all of his guy friends are saying a bunch of words and at the time it seemed like they were saying things in a different language and I was like boys calm your little crazy self–down what the heck is it. and all I hear is, "you like Bronson"{completely in denial} and after that it's kind of was a turn off from him. I have so many memories but the one which stands out most in my mind, heart and soul is the memory of my son Alyxaiden Eric Nicholas Cano. He was born Mothers ' day May 8th of 2011 at 9:50 am, weighing 7 lbs and 6 oz and 19 '3 inches in length; absolute perfection. I was in labor with him 7 long painful yet worth while hours. When my son was born that all changed and I begin to make choices to make a bright and successful future for my son and I. Like I 've said many times before " I gave him life, but he gave me a reason to live". When God took him home I could of just gave up and threw myself a big pity party but i didn 't. Yes, i struggle every day with his passing but i grow stronger every second, it it his memories that keep him alive with me every day! No one can ever replace or give me back what i have lost but I know this is not the end for us. It is up to me to make the most of my time here on earth and give back to those who have gone through what I 'm going through and will continue to go through for the rest of my life. I may not be that strong today but in time i will gain the strength to give others strength and hope, just the same as people are giving it to me. Love conquers all, it has no limits. Every day is better than yesterday. Death is promised to us all, it never comes when you want, and it has no respect of others. • 16. My Most Memorable Experience My most memorable moment where we were playing a review game were you have to shoot a basket to score points, and Liam went to shoot a basket and you smacked it right out of his hands then proceed to dab. This memory I feel like perfectly describes your personality you can be so funny and so lighthearted but still teach which is great. When the school year began I was excited and not at all nervous. But, in the beginning of the year knowing it was my last year of middle school I was actually sad after four years (I went to a different school) it was all coming to an end. I was mostly really pumped because last year at the pep rally seeing you dance made me say "I want Mr. Jones as my teacher next year" , so much so, you could ask any one of my friends and they would tell you how I would say that all the time last year. 8th grade World History was a fun experience because of the activities and games we did throughout the year. Also, the people in our class and of course, having you as a teacher. We learned multiple different unit's this year and it is hard to pick a favorite, my favorite unit however this year was Life in Medieval Towns. I enjoyed this unit because, I thought it was extremely interesting learning about the way people used to live during a time period long ago. The unit especially caught my attention because, learning about what people did for work or what their houses looked like really intrigued me. Another reason I enjoyed this unit was, that you seemed so Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Memorable Moment In Life Living on this Earth as long as you have, can you say that there have been memorable moments or people? Did it change your life or perspective? If you hadn't met that person would your life be different? The lovely part of life is that nobody has traveled the path in life that anyone has paved for themselves. Therefore, nobody has seen what another has seen and even felt the same in those moments. Like for example, one person could have witnessed child birth but the other person had a child. Same moment but different reactions and it could've been only memorable to one person. In my case though, that is one of many memorable moments I have encounterered in my seventeen years. I know what you're thinking and yes I was definitely the one that...show more content... But I then realized that would be the most stressful job ever. And when I say need I mean like something terrible occured in their life like rape and they weren't physically, mentally, and emotionally, even financially, prepared. It would be illegal to a teenpregnancy because it's completely avoidable. Did you know a baby's heart begins beating 21 days after conception? Yeah that really opened my eyes too. I just think it should be legal but to a strict extent. But whatever does happen in the future at least I can say that I did experience this. it's not everyday that someone asks you to watch. I definitely don't want anyone in the delivery room with me if I decide to have a baby. But after all the tears and sweat, my neice X'alea Shalane Amor Martin was born a healthy 9 pounds. • 18. What Is A Memorable Moment Essay Memorable Moment " Let us go, please." I yelled. "Ok where do you want to go?" Mom asked. "To the Lake, so pack." I said My mom, my sister Hailey ,and packed. I packed the cooler for the drinks and food. While I opened the freezer, I saw all of the frost on the ice container and I saw fog come out of the freezer. As my face got cooled I tried to get the ice container I put both arms in the freezer and reached and reached. As I kept on reaching I felt all of the cold air go on my arms all the way down my legs. As I finally picked up the large white, plastic, ice container I felt all of the frost on the box now on my hands. As I set the container full of ice on the island. Then I finally lifted up the ice container and dumped the ice in the cooler I put the container in the freezer. As my mom told me to watch Hailey while she goes to get soda. I told Hailey to pack whatever she wants to pack. As Hailey was packing I was sitting there listening to music on my phone. When I heard my mom pull in into the driveway and into the garage I took of my headphones and packed the cooler into the enormous trunk. While my sister was getting buckled into her carseat I got hers stuff and put it in the trunk. My mom and I got buckled and mom pulled out of the garage and we were on the road in no time, but before we went to the lake we stopped at Sara's Ice Cream Shop. I got a large root beer float while my mom got an Icecream cone and so did my sister. 30 minutes later we have arrived at the lake. As I stepped out of the car I could feel the blazing hot concrete. I ran to the cool relaxing water. My mom took out the towels and the cooler out of the car and set our spot up on the smooth, dry, and crunchy sand. As my 2 year old sister got her princess floaties on I saw a 10 foot cliff jump spot. As I walked up the steep, slippery, and light green mossy rocks. As I got to the top I got nervous, at that very moment somebody did a belly flop. While they did the belly flop I saw some pebbles fall of the 10 foot cliff. As I stepped up to the edge of the 10 foot it looked like a 15 foot cliff. As I jumped of the cliff I did a cannonball, as I was doing a cannonball I felt all of the air blowing in my face, I opened my mouth then Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. The Most Memorable Moment In My Life There are so many memorable moments that are important in your life. From being born to your first step to going to school. But milestones are so much more than just a moment. Milestones are what make your life up, where you take a minute and say " wow I actually did this". For me, one of my biggest milestones was high school graduation. It wasn't the actual graduation itself but the meaning behind it and what it meant for me for the rest of my life. Not only was I growing older and moving on with my life. It ends a chapter in my book with some people and continues new ones with others. Graduation day is a day I can never forget. I saw this girl that went to my middle school sitting at the bench with her mom and I told my parents " I know her but I don't talk to her. " Of course, my dad walks up to them and talks to them and she said she remembered me. We took a couple pictures because my dad wanted it and then her mom started taking pictures. Finally we got a chance to get into the hall and we were behind the scenes of a graduation. That moment I realized graduation isn't anything for yourself, instead this is for your parents. My math teacher found me and was able to give me even more bobby pins to help out my messy situation with my hat. Then we entered the hall. So many seats were open but they didn't let us invite all the family we had. So when we were seated they began to call our names. One after another we clapped and cheered for our classmates. The nice part was everyone clapped for everyone no one was left out in the claps. When it got to my turn I didn't just shake everyone's hand that was lined up, I ended up hugging everyone.
