2. REFLEXIVE PRONOUNS
We use a reflexive
pronoun when we want to refer
back to the subject of the
sentence or clause. Reflexive
pronouns end in "-self"
(singular) or "-selves" (plural).
3. There are eight reflexive pronouns:

4. 1) usually used when the object of a
sentence is the same as the subject.
e.g. The boy cut himself in
the art lesson.

e.g. Dad bought myself a

yesterday.

6. e.g. You must finish the work by
yourself.
2) used to emphasize that someone does
something without any help from anyone else
7. We use a reflexive pronoun as a direct object
when the object is the same as the subject of the
verb.
