strapping pits when running in or out of the hole and helping the derrick hand with pump rebuilds all fell under standard
operating procedures. Rig loader position included but was not limited to keeping good record of all materials on location and
leaving location, handling drill pipe, casing and specialty drilling tools.Other responsibilities included leading the rou stabouts in
strapping,drifting and keeping a good tally of drill pipe, and casing. Organization of trucking materials when it came time for
rig move, inspecting mud products daily for damage and potential spills, alerting traffic on the pad during drills and notifying
management of changes in wind direction in the event of a rig evacuation.
