OBJECTIVE: To run a safe and efficient rig.
QUALIFICATIONS: I have drilled numerous directional and horizontal wells. Experienced in
under balanced drilling with parasite strings, H2s and CO2 injected
fields, oil-based mud, Synthetic oil based mud, water-based mud, air
drilling and drilling with no returns. Drilling in different areas such as
southern California, central California, off the coast of California,
southern Wyoming, central Utah, western Colorado, northwestern
Colorado, Mexico, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. I have
obtained experience in many different drilling techniques. Specialty
tools I have worked with include several types of MWD’s, single shot,
multi-shot, DWD, SCR rigs, Top drive rigs, both conventional and
joystick rigs, Cyber Chair, de-watering systems, fishing equipment,
power swivels, and rotary steerable tools.

EMPLOYMENT:
2/13-Present Consultant/Superintendant assistant for Chesapeake energy in Converse county
Wyoming and Ohio. Job duties include, filling in for my superintendant while he
is away on company business, or unavailable. This includes trouble shooting well
problems on his rigs, calling in morning reports, discussing well problems and
solutions with drilling engineers, as well as managing my own rig.
10/10- 2/13 Consultant for Chesapeake Energy. Goshen, Platte and Converse Counties
Wyoming. Job duties include, coordinating rig moves, organize daily operations
with rig crew and third party hands, prepare detailed daily operations reports,
manage tight hole, lost circulation and well control situations, order and figure
casing and cement jobs, perform daily HSE inspections, tourly safety meetings.
7/10- 10/10 Rig Manager for Patterson-UTI. Pennsylvania, and West Virginia
Job duties include, keeping rig supplied, invoicing, trouble shooting mechanical
problems, preparing detailed daily operations reports, train new crew members
how to safely perform their job duties, organize and supervise rig moves,
organize a daily agenda for drillers and crew members, maintain a safe and fully
functional drilling rig.
2. 7/09- 7/10 ToolPusher for Weatherford drilling International, South Central Mexico.
Maintain a fully functional, safe and environmentally friendly drilling rig.
Coordinate job duties with both national and international crew members. Train
national crew members on safe and proper drilling operations. Keep a good
inventory of parts in or under budget, writing, reviewing and sending electronic
reports. Coordinate well plans with company man, directional drillers, and mud
engineers.
4/07 – 5/09 Toolpusher for Nabors Drilling USA.
Maintaining a safe and efficient crew. Also maintaining a safe and fully
operational rig which includes rig inspections, ordering and
inventory of all parts, repairing electrical and mechanical problems.
Supervising rig moves, rig ups and rig downs.
7/06 - 4/07 Operations safety trainer for Nabors Drilling USA. Conducted HSE orientation,
conducted O.S.H.A. compliance audits on the 5 rigs in my area. Trained all hands
from the driller down to the lead tong hand how to safely and efficiently perform
their duties. Conducted accident investigations and trained hands on how to avoid
the accident from happening again in the future.
4/04 - 7/06 Driller for Nabors Drilling USA. Maintaining a safe and efficient crew.
Operating the drilling rig, drilling and tripping pipe. Supervising all the
duties of my crews and informing other drillers of duties needed
to be done. Sliding and rotating. Drilling directional wells. Running
and operating the choke while drilling under balanced wells.
