2. AbstractAbstract
The project is about Automatic remote control
of Induction motor.
It will be achieved by use of a GSM based
system which will isolate the object(induction
motor)from the healthy system during faulty
conditions like overvoltage, over current, and
overload.

3. Idea of the projectIdea of the project
To detect the line voltage and current and compare
with the preset limits.
If the input fed is out of the domain of the safe
limits then the system will send an SMS to the
registered number and will also sound a buzzer to
alarm the operator.

5. Signal FlowSignal Flow
(1) Sensor:- CT, PT and temperature sensor will
monitor the input to the induction motor and
will transfer them to the microcontroller for
analysis.
(2) ADC:-It will make the analog signals from
sensors fit for the microcontroller as it can only
operate on digital signals.
(3) Micro-controller:-As per the input provided by the
sensing elements microcontroller will process
them accordingly to carry out intended
operations. AUTOMATIC CONTROL OF INDUCTION

6. (4) MAX 232:- It is an interfacing element between
M/C and GSM modem as both works on a
different levels.
(5) GSM Module:-The GSM module will receive and send
messages and decode the commands which will be
stored in the Sim memory.
(6) LCD:-The display will show the status of the
motor parameters during faulty as well as
healthy conditions.

27. ADVANTAGESADVANTAGES
1. The system thus produced will be very low cost and
will require very less maintenance due to no moving
parts.
2. It will be very compact and easily transportable.
3. It will provide a two way control i.e. from remote
places as well as by on the site.
4. No highly skilled personnel is required.
5. The device thus developed will consume very less
