Nature and Society
4th C grade
Teacher:Višnja Mušnjak
The goal of the project:
strengthening presentation skills and
raising students' self-confidence.
Work methods:
Students choose the teaching unit according to their
interest.
They research the topic and design activities for the
lesson.
SOIL
 poster presentation
Marija and Lucija are teaching us about
soil as a condition of life.They made a
poster about types of soil.
 power point presentation  soil information from textbooks
After they taught us everything about soil through the
presentation, we read the text and information in our
textbook together.
Conducting experiments
The most interesting part of the lesson was performing experiments.
They brought us several types of soil in bags.We tactilely studied and
described their texture and did filtration.
Knowledge test (game and worksheet)
At the end of the lesson, they prepared an educational game in
Wordwall and a worksheet to check knowledge.
AIR
power point presentation
Barbara , Larisa and Elena were teaching as about air as a condition of life..
The presentation was excellent and supported by graphics.
They put special emphasis on the part about air pollution.
Conducting experiments
Through several experiments, they proved to us all the mentioned
properties of air.
Knowledge test (game, quiz and worksheet)
They checked how much knowledge they passed on to us
through a quiz and an interesting lesson sheet.
WATER
power point presentation
Katja and Lora were teaching us about water as a condition of life.They prepared
an excellent presentation and two short educational films on the given topic.
Conducting experiments
Through conducting experiments, we observed and
determined all properties of water.
Knowledge test ( quiz and worksheet)
It was interesting to show and check our knowledge
again through quizzes and worksheets.
Water Circulation in Nature
 power point presentation and drawing
Mia, Hana and Amanda researched everything about the
water cycle in nature.They made an excellent presentation,
and then explained the process one more time by drawing on
the school board.
Conducting experiments
Through several experiments, we observed the course of
water filtration.
Knowledge test ( quiz and drawing questions)
The quiz was dynamic and interesting, but drawing and
answering the questions they prepared was an even more
exciting way to show how much we learned.
LIGHT and HEAT as conditions of life
power point presentation
Viktorija and Katja were teaching us about light and heat as
conditions of life.They prepared an excellent and interesting
presentation about it.
Conducting experiments
They presented us with a brave experiment with the support of the
teacher.They showed us how a balloon takes off using hot air.
Knowledge test ( game, quiz and worksheep )
At the end of the class, they checked the assimilation of
our knowledge with a quiz and a worksheet.
The Climate, Flora and Fauna of the Croatian
Highlands
power point presentation
Our homeland is divided into three parts. Lowland Croatia, Mountain Croatia and
Coastal Croatia.Tia and Sara explored the natural features and flora and fauna of the
mountainous part of Croatia.
Knowledge test ( quiz and worksheep )
In addition to following the geographical map, they also prepared
an interesting lesson sheet for us to check our knowledge.
At the end……
• The students who presented their research work said
that they felt great and grown up in the role of
teacher.
• They approached the tasks excitedly and with
curiosity, and after they had prepared everything,
they were ready and relaxed to teach.
• They believe that this is an excellent way to
strengthen their presentation skills and increase their
self-confidence.
