 The stages of seed germination
 Changes in the seed during the germination process
Description: In the first class, students are informed about the important notions about the seed
and about the component parts of the seed, respectively the importance of the seed in the
reproduction of plants. The second hour the teacher explains to the students how to do the
whole practical activity at home, and after a week, the students of the class are asked to present
the experimental activity done in front of the class under the guidance of the teacher. Thus,
opinions and different opinions and observations on the experiment are presented, respectively
the importance of plant protection to ensure natural propagation.

Skills:
 Observation of light reflection and light spectrum
 Behavior of liquids as a function of density
Description: Under the guidance of the teacher, students experienced how light is reflected on
glossy surfaces, the colors of the rainbow. Then, they mixed liquids with different amounts of
sugar and added food coloring to better distinguish the phenomenon. They carefully poured the
liquids into a single glass and noticed that the liquid with the highest density remained on the
bottom of the glass, while the sugar-free liquid lay on top.

Description: Under the guidance of the teacher, the students made sheets of

The second hour the teacher explains to the students how to do the whole practical activity at home, and after a week, the students of the class are asked to present the experimental activity done in front of the class under the guidance of the teacher.
