safety buildings and construction procedures
 Conducted a research of disaster mitigation measures in Nairobi and Kisumu
 Member of the logistics committee on the planning for International Disaster Risk
Reduction Day (IDRR) chaired and financed by the United Nations Development
Programme (UNDP).
 Planning for different stakeholders meetings on disaster risk reduction issues
 Management of Strategic Grain Reserve (SGR) and relief food logistics
Achievements:
 Successfully planned the IDRR day logistics together with other government stakeholders
 Successfully outline the mitigation measures for Nairobi and Kisumu which was later
