 undertaken in theyear 2000 to addresstheimpedimentsof illiteracy through IT

solving simplearithmetic problemsin 45 to 50 hours.
Adult Literacy Programme (ALP)
Graduatesof Literacy

 Theprogrammeisavailablein 9 Indian languages, 2 African languages and Arabic.
 Sinceitsinception, theALPhasreached 1,93,625 beneficiaries.
 In fiscal 2013, literacy wasimparted to 11125 people.
