The artist shown on the front cover, is a teenager, wand
a middle class citizen. The clothing he wears indicate
that the magazine is of a modern style, this is also, seen
due to how the artist uses headphones, the color
scheme is also of a high contrast which is a conventional
way for magazines to portray a new and modern vibe to
younger generations. The artist facial expression is quite
intimidating and gives the impression that he is quite
confident in his ability, this arrogant feeling would imply
that it is aimed at a younger audience who can relate to
this attitude. The artist is also wearing headphones
which represent modern day technology.

keeps a visual consistency, though the the artist has changed his pose and
isn’t looking at the camera, by doing this makes the picture look more
interesting, and due to the new pose it makes him look more mysterious.

though the magazine is targeted for teens and young adults, audiences
who listened to the old rap might potentially buy the magazine. Drake is
also included due to how he is one of the most famous artist of the newer
generation, by including these famous people will ensure that a wide
audience are attracted from each of the artists fan base.
The features also include daily news, keeping casual readers updated on
what is going on social websites such as twitter, as well as events such as a
tour which will interest the reader.

The artist in the article is looking at the camera with an intimidating
facial expression, by doing this makes a connection between the
reader and the magazine, like the front cover the article image shows
an intimidating facial expression, which also express his confidence
in his ability and the arrogance of having gained fame and money.
Through the pose of the artist it indicates that the magazine is for the
younger audience such as teens and young adults.

represent the modern era, though due to the black and white color

The text in this magazine are presented into two columns, the questions are
of a normal black font whilst the questions are of a white font in a black box
to make it noticeable to the reader that it is a subheading. Not much text are
used due to the target audience being of a young age. The text consist of
questions but also answers from the artist that refer to his personal life and
how he became a famous artist, as well as the people that inspired him.
Embedded question were used to show the atmosphere of the interview, it
also shows what the artist’s thoughts/ opinions were in regard to the
questions. The artist uses adjectives “his style was unique and different form
the other rappers” in his speech to talk about the people that inspired him,
the text in general are written informally, this aggressive tone, is mostly to
attract the younger generations.
