Molecular Biology students were facing a huge challenge from the administration of Faculty of science. Though they have produced good results in the district level they were forced again to show their excellence when compared to Biological science students in University of Colombo who came from very good school regardless of demographics of Molecular Biology intake students. (Hometown and their back ground, Class differences, Language difficulties, cultural shocks and Bording facilities)

• Why should we prove that again when there is a
standardized GCE A/L results was showing our
competence ?
• Did you compared a MB student from district A
with a Bio student from district A ?
• If we want to prove again what are the out
comes for our efforts we made in 3 years for
GCE A/L ?
• Does medical students also have to follow
Bioscience course units to become re-eligible to
study medicine ?
