WORK EXPERIENCE
NATIONAL PETROLEUM CONSTRUCTION COMPANY -ABU DHABI,UAE
1) NASR FULL FIELD DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (EPC WORKS FOR PACKAGE-1)
ADMA-OPCO is developing the NASR offshore oil field located about 131 km North West of Abu Dhabiin the Arabian Gulf
and about 30 km North East of the Umm Shaif Super Complex (USSC).
The NASR field will be developed to secure an annualaverage production of 65 MSTBOPD of crude oil. NPCC scope is to
develop 7 newwellhead towers facility. All Wellhead towers have production, water injection and gas lift facilities.
Responsible for equipment sizing including Scrapper launcher & Receivers, drain sump tank, smart vessel, line list ,Alarm
& trip list, instrument datasheets of ESDVS,MOVs and Temperature &Pressure instrument.
KBR –AMCDE
1) REROUTE QATIF RAS TANURA PIPELINES
The project aims to reliably maintain the maximum sustained capability(MSC) supply rate of Arabian Extra Light (AXL)
crude, Arabian Light (AL) crude,and Natural Gas Liquid (NGL) from Abqaiq to Ras Tanura Refinery (RTR) and Jua’ymah
Terminal (JT).It is also to enhance the supply reliability of raw water from Qatif Water Wells Booster Station to Ras
Tanura Raw Water Booster Station.
Responsible for Pipeline Hydraulics and Surge Analysis for H2O & NGL pipelines, PFDs & PIDS preparation for all pipelines
& Depressurizing time calculations and Burn Pit sizing calculations for NGL pipelines.
2) UPGRADE EXPORT PRODUCT CHILLING FACILITIES, JUAMAH NGL FRACTIONATION PLANT
The project aims to upgrade the export product chiller facilities at JNGLF by replacing existing four Propane Chilling Units
and the three Butane Chilling Units with newchilling units to ensure more reliable exporter for propane and butane
products.
Responsible for performing value engineering study in Hysys simulator to replace Freon R-22 refrigerant with best
efficient refrigerant among Propane,R134a,R507a & R22,PFDs and PIDS preparation,AFC sizing calculations, vessels
sizing calculations and hydraulics calculations for both Propane and Butane Compressor units.
3) CRS and FGRS, Qatif Gas Gathering Facility, Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia
The project aims to install newclosed relief system on degassing tanks and Stabilizers at Qatif and Abu Safah GOSP
to recover the relief gases. These gases will then route to newproposed Flare gas recovery system.
Responsible for doing relief header sizing on flare Net and connecting it with existing flare header, proposing the
technology selection between liquid seal drum and buckling pins & technology selection among ejectors, liquid ring
compressors and blowers.
SAMSUNG ENGINEERING SAUDI ARABIA
1) RIYADH REFINERY CLEAN TRANSPORTATION FUELS
The project aims to improve the product specification and quality of both gasoline and dieselby reducing sulfur levelto 10
ppm,and also lowering the gasoline benzene and total aromatics to less than 1vol% and 35vol% respectively and meeting
diesel T95 distillation at 360°C.
Responsible for Preparation of PFDs and P&IDs for hydrocracker unit, Thermal rating of shell and tube heat exchangers
for Hydrocracker & CDU/VDU Unit, Vessel Design including Vertical & Horizontal & three phase separator sizing,
Hydraulics Calculations for Pumps,Control Valves and Data sheets preparation.
2) CO2 CAPTURE AND INJECTION FACILITIES (SAUDI ARAMCO)
The project aims to dry and compressed 45 mmscfd of wet CO2 from DGA trains at Hayiwah NGL recovery plant and inject
at Uthmaniyah GOSP7 toenhance the oil recovery of fluids.
Responsible for Preparation of Package Equipment Specifications for GDU Unit, PFDs and P&IDs development,vessels
sizing, tanks sizing, hydraulics calculations, Cause and Effect Matrix development,participate in Hazop study and
operating manualpreparation of GDU unit.
DESCON INTEGRATED PROJECTS (PVT.LTD)
1) NCP PROJECT (SAUDI CHEVRON PHILLIPS COMPANY/ JGC ENGINEERING)
The Project aims to install newEthylene, Metathesis, Pygas, 1-Hexene,Polyethylene,Polypropylene, and Polystyrene Units
and associated off sites and utilities.
Responsible for Thermalrating of shell & tube heat exchangers,Perform scenario building, relief load calculations,
PSV sizing, Vessel Design, including vertical & horizontal K.O. Drums, two phases, three phase separators (with/without
demister) & perform sizing and rating of lines, pumps, compressors and control valves for single and mixed phases.
Pumps,Vessels, Heat exchangers,Control valve & Flow element data sheets preparation.

2) RAS GAS BARZAN ONSHORE PROJECT ( RAS GAS COMPANY LIMITED / JGC ENGINEERING)
The project aims to study the relief load calculations for the onshore portion of the Barzan onshore Project. The facility
comprise of a gas processing unit, a sulphur recovery unit to remove impurities from the naturalgas and a naturalgas
liquids (NGL) recovery unit, which will produce methane, ethane,propane,butane and condensate.
Responsible for Pressure relief systems (Relief load Scenario building & Calculations, PSV sizing) and Excel based
Calculations for Relief Load Evaluation &PSV sizing as per API 520,521,526.
3) BPP- RELIEF, BLOW DOWN AND FLARE STUDY OF MKK FACILITIES. (BRITISH PETROLEUM PAKISTAN).
The project aims to analyze and advice BP Pakistan on adequacy of installed overpressure protection systems, blow down
and flare systems (for its Kauser,Naimat & Umer Facilities) ,Identify short comings, gaps of the installed systems in
comparison with applicable codes, industry practices and BP group practices and advice corrective mitigation measures to
BP Pakistan.
Responsible for Pressure relief systems (Relief load Scenario building & calculations, PSV sizing, Flare Header Sizing, Flare
Stack Sizing, ThermalRadiation Analysis of Flare) as per BP engineering practices/standards and API 521,520,526.
Performed Dispersion modeling using software “Cirrus” developed by BP International limited, London.
4) FERTIL DEBOTTLENECKING PROJECT (RUWAIS FERTILIZER COMPANY)
The Project aims to further increase the Urea Plant capacity by 50% (2700 MT per day) toincrease the capacity to convert
90,000 MT Per Year of ammonia into urea.
The CO2 required for this process is recovered from the presently vented Reformer flue gases, resulting in annual
reduction in Green House Gases emissions of approximately 100,000 tons of CO2 and that corresponds to 20% reduction
in FERTIL CO2 emission.
Responsible for Preparation of PFDs and P&IDs for Granulation Area, Hydraulic calculations of Granulation area,CO2
recovery area and Cooling Water network analysis for extension in Granulation area and line destination table.
5) BHIKKI POWER PLANT (HALMORE POWER GENERATION COMPANY)
The combined cycle power plant of total installed power of 209 MW with two gas turbines approximately 69,7 MW each
com busting naturalgas and liquid fuel(HSDO),two horizontal waste heat boilers (HRSG-heat recovery steam generator)
and one steam condensing turbine approximately 76 MW.
Responsible for OverallPlant Water Balance, Preparation of PFDs and P&IDs for utility Area (Rawwater system, Demin
water system, Potable water system, Cooling water system, Fire water system, instrument and plant air distribution
system and Steam and condensate system), Control Philosophy, Hydraulic calculations of utility area including Cooling
Water, Closed cooling water and Fire water network analysis, Emergency vent and PVRV calculations as per API 2000 and
datasheet preparation, Sizing & Preparation of specification sheets for (Pumps,Tanks, vessels, control valves), Equipment
list, Line List, Vendor quote evaluations. Coordination with the Client & other disciplines.
PAKARAB FERTILIZERS, MULTAN, PAKISTAN
Pakarab Fertilizers is largest Fertilizers complex in Pakistan, producing NP (Nitro Phose) Fertilizers, CAN (Calcium
Ammonium Phosphate) Fertilizers & UREA Fertilizer.
I have been posted at NP Plant. It has a capacity of 100 Ton /Day. I have been working as Shift Engineer.My
responsibilities were to produce NP product with specifications of 21% N to 21% P by weight.
To achieve all this plant has following Processing & Utilities facilities.
Rock Phosphate Supply,Dissolving, Crystallization & Separation,Neutralization, Evaporation, Prilling, Steam &
Condensate System, Demine Water System, Ammonia Refrigeration System.

The NASR field will be developed to secure an annualaverage production of 65 MSTBOPD of crude oil. NPCC scope is to develop 7 newwellhead towers facility. All Wellhead towers have production, water injection and gas lift facilities. Responsible for equipment sizing including Scrapper launcher & Receivers, drain sump tank, smart vessel, line list ,Alarm & trip list, instrument datasheets of ESDVS,MOVs and Temperature &Pressure instrument. KBR –AMCDE 1) REROUTE QATIF RAS TANURA PIPELINES The project aims to reliably maintain the maximum sustained capability(MSC) supply rate of Arabian Extra Light (AXL) crude, Arabian Light (AL) crude,and Natural Gas Liquid (NGL) from Abqaiq to Ras Tanura Refinery (RTR) and Jua’ymah Terminal (JT).It is also to enhance the supply reliability of raw water from Qatif Water Wells Booster Station to Ras Tanura Raw Water Booster Station. Responsible for Pipeline Hydraulics and Surge Analysis for H2O & NGL pipelines, PFDs & PIDS preparation for all pipelines & Depressurizing time calculations and Burn Pit sizing calculations for NGL pipelines. 2) UPGRADE EXPORT PRODUCT CHILLING FACILITIES, JUAMAH NGL FRACTIONATION PLANT The project aims to upgrade the export product chiller facilities at JNGLF by replacing existing four Propane Chilling Units and the three Butane Chilling Units with newchilling units to ensure more reliable exporter for propane and butane products. Responsible for performing value engineering study in Hysys simulator to replace Freon R-22 refrigerant with best efficient refrigerant among Propane,R134a,R507a & R22,PFDs and PIDS preparation,AFC sizing calculations, vessels sizing calculations and hydraulics calculations for both Propane and Butane Compressor units. 3) CRS and FGRS, Qatif Gas Gathering Facility, Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia The project aims to install newclosed relief system on degassing tanks and Stabilizers at Qatif and Abu Safah GOSP to recover the relief gases. These gases will then route to newproposed Flare gas recovery system. Responsible for doing relief header sizing on flare Net and connecting it with existing flare header, proposing the technology selection between liquid seal drum and buckling pins & technology selection among ejectors, liquid ring compressors and blowers. SAMSUNG ENGINEERING SAUDI ARABIA 1) RIYADH REFINERY CLEAN TRANSPORTATION FUELS The project aims to improve the product specification and quality of both gasoline and dieselby reducing sulfur levelto 10 ppm,and also lowering the gasoline benzene and total aromatics to less than 1vol% and 35vol% respectively and meeting diesel T95 distillation at 360°C. Responsible for Preparation of PFDs and P&IDs for hydrocracker unit, Thermal rating of shell and tube heat exchangers for Hydrocracker & CDU/VDU Unit, Vessel Design including Vertical & Horizontal & three phase separator sizing, Hydraulics Calculations for Pumps,Control Valves and Data sheets preparation. 2) CO2 CAPTURE AND INJECTION FACILITIES (SAUDI ARAMCO) The project aims to dry and compressed 45 mmscfd of wet CO2 from DGA trains at Hayiwah NGL recovery plant and inject at Uthmaniyah GOSP7 toenhance the oil recovery of fluids. Responsible for Preparation of Package Equipment Specifications for GDU Unit, PFDs and P&IDs development,vessels sizing, tanks sizing, hydraulics calculations, Cause and Effect Matrix development,participate in Hazop study and operating manualpreparation of GDU unit. DESCON INTEGRATED PROJECTS (PVT.LTD) 1) NCP PROJECT (SAUDI CHEVRON PHILLIPS COMPANY/ JGC ENGINEERING) The Project aims to install newEthylene, Metathesis, Pygas, 1-Hexene,Polyethylene,Polypropylene, and Polystyrene Units and associated off sites and utilities. Responsible for Thermalrating of shell & tube heat exchangers,Perform scenario building, relief load calculations, PSV sizing, Vessel Design, including vertical & horizontal K.O. Drums, two phases, three phase separators (with/without demister) & perform sizing and rating of lines, pumps, compressors and control valves for single and mixed phases. The facility comprise of a gas processing unit, a sulphur recovery unit to remove impurities from the naturalgas and a naturalgas liquids (NGL) recovery unit, which will produce methane, ethane,propane,butane and condensate. Responsible for Pressure relief systems (Relief load Scenario building & Calculations, PSV sizing) and Excel based Calculations for Relief Load Evaluation &PSV sizing as per API 520,521,526. 3) BPP- RELIEF, BLOW DOWN AND FLARE STUDY OF MKK FACILITIES. (BRITISH PETROLEUM PAKISTAN). The project aims to analyze and advice BP Pakistan on adequacy of installed overpressure protection systems, blow down and flare systems (for its Kauser,Naimat & Umer Facilities) ,Identify short comings, gaps of the installed systems in comparison with applicable codes, industry practices and BP group practices and advice corrective mitigation measures to BP Pakistan. Responsible for Pressure relief systems (Relief load Scenario building & calculations, PSV sizing, Flare Header Sizing, Flare Stack Sizing, ThermalRadiation Analysis of Flare) as per BP engineering practices/standards and API 521,520,526. Performed Dispersion modeling using software “Cirrus” developed by BP International limited, London. 4) FERTIL DEBOTTLENECKING PROJECT (RUWAIS FERTILIZER COMPANY) The Project aims to further increase the Urea Plant capacity by 50% (2700 MT per day) toincrease the capacity to convert 90,000 MT Per Year of ammonia into urea. The CO2 required for this process is recovered from the presently vented Reformer flue gases, resulting in annual reduction in Green House Gases emissions of approximately 100,000 tons of CO2 and that corresponds to 20% reduction in FERTIL CO2 emission. Responsible for Preparation of PFDs and P&IDs for Granulation Area, Hydraulic calculations of Granulation area,CO2 recovery area and Cooling Water network analysis for extension in Granulation area and line destination table. 5) BHIKKI POWER PLANT (HALMORE POWER GENERATION COMPANY) The combined cycle power plant of total installed power of 209 MW with two gas turbines approximately 69,7 MW each com busting naturalgas and liquid fuel(HSDO),two horizontal waste heat boilers (HRSG-heat recovery steam generator) and one steam condensing turbine approximately 76 MW. Responsible for OverallPlant Water Balance, Preparation of PFDs and P&IDs for utility Area (Rawwater system, Demin water system, Potable water system, Cooling water system, Fire water system, instrument and plant air distribution system and Steam and condensate system), Control Philosophy, Hydraulic calculations of utility area including Cooling Water, Closed cooling water and Fire water network analysis, Emergency vent and PVRV calculations as per API 2000 and datasheet preparation, Sizing & Preparation of specification sheets for (Pumps,Tanks, vessels, control valves), Equipment list, Line List, Vendor quote evaluations. Coordination with the Client & other disciplines. PAKARAB FERTILIZERS, MULTAN, PAKISTAN Pakarab Fertilizers is largest Fertilizers complex in Pakistan, producing NP (Nitro Phose) Fertilizers, CAN (Calcium Ammonium Phosphate) Fertilizers & UREA Fertilizer. I have been posted at NP Plant. It has a capacity of 100 Ton /Day. I have been working as Shift Engineer.My responsibilities were to produce NP product with specifications of 21% N to 21% P by weight.
