Tasks included Opening and Closing the kitchen, creating the floor chart (employee
position for their shift), delegating cleaning duties, prepping and inventory orders, and
solving disputes between kitchen employees, lead pre-shift meetings, translate the
Spanish/English combination that some employees have to others, and train new
employees. Employee motivation was the cornerstone to working here and learning
techniques to motivate the employees helped and will continue helping through
learning experience.

July 2013
Tasks included creating the weekly schedule for all kitchen employees, Opening and
Closing the entire store, creating the floor chart for the kitchen and dining area,
delegating and starting cleaning duties, prepping and inventory orders, and solving
disputes between employees. Managers were required to attend weekly meetings with
the general manager and shopping center representative to promote more business and
to tune up any problems that arose from the week before. The most information
learned came from the managers who worked at this location and that knowledge will
always be a stepping stone to grow from.

times under any circumstances without fail and without emotion. Achieved an umpiring
level advanced enough to work high school junior varsity tournaments before applying
for Ivy Tech.
