1. INTRODUCTION
In this final project, we are required to be grouped with two members. We have to find
an empty space for a small construction, but the space is limited for 30m×30m or
30m×40m big.
For this project, we also have to do a report about the small construction. The report
have to require some important information which are the benefit and impact of the
project, introduction of site, site analysis and observation, costing, our plans of our
construction and some images of our ideas. So, for our site, we have decided to construct
a food court at our site. So, we have done some research about food court.

2.1 BENEFITS:
- many choices for foods
Food court is a place where shops are opened to sell different kinds of foods. So, there
would be many choices in choosing what to eat or drink
- convenient for nearby people
As there are nearby residential area, supermarket and sport’s center. Hence, it is very

convenient for them to stop and eat or drink at the food court.
- economical prices
Other food court sold their food in economical price. In our food court, we are also going
with economical prices which are affordable for everyone to buy the foods.
- save fuel from traveling
It can also help in saving fuels, as some of the people can walk or cycle to the food court
and they do not need to drive to the food court.
2.2 IMPACTS
- traffic jam
As the residential area, supermarket, sport’s center and there is even a bus stop near the
food court, so it would maybe cause a bit of traffic jam on the road.

I. FROM SURROUNDING TO FOOD COURT
A) Local residents
Explanation of circulation :
Local residents normal comes from the south point of Puchong Utama, because the
residential areas in Puchong Utama are more further from the LDP( Lebuhraya
Damansara-Puchong ) to the food court.
Residents in Taman Maju Jaya normally come from the West road .
The main road for Puchong Utama residents is very important,because that is the only
way the can exit via main road to LDP.
Therefore , our food court located right next to the main road is easily been seen by the

B) Non-local residents
Explanation of circulation :
Non-local residents normally enter from LDP(Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong) to the
main road , after that turn left into Jalan Puchong Utama 3. The food court is located on
their right hand side.

Explanation of circulation :
This is the only bus staion in Puchong.
This is also the end of the bus route, bus’s driver normally rest at here before starts their
new journey.
There are several bus route surround Puchong Utama, which is surround the food court as
well.
Although the bus does not stop right infront of food court , but the bus stop infront of
KSL sports center and on the left of the Aeon big.
People can just walk within 2 minutes from the Bus station.
The buses bring their passenger pass thru food court and stops at bus station, we think the
drivers and passengers from the buses will mostly visited food court , if they want to have
a meal.

10. CONCLUSION
In this 40m x 30m proposal of a food court, with solemn consideration from many
aspects. We can say that pros of present of this building are much more than the cons. The
main reason we say so is because of the surrounding elements. With these helps from the
surrounding elements , our proposal of food court is about to say 99% success of
percentage out of 100% , therefore developer should accept this proposal without much
hesitation.
The reason why it is still empty now, in our opinion are the landowner want to keep it or
lent to others but not self develope as the landowner may have a thought of this very
potential land may bring him more benefits in the future.
