Introduction to the Site
The site for this development is alongJalan Yap Kwan Seng. It is
currentlya landmark for sale and temporarily managedby an authority
available for its tertiary services - car parking. We find the functionality of
this landmark covers a very high potential of beingdesigned due to its
surrounding commercial development. We claimed to propose a
beneficial landscapeplanningfor the advanced city line.

Introduction
I have decided to develop a recreational area on the designated land,
2601 square meter downgradedsite along Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, KLCC,
50450, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan.I plan to build a mini theme
park because it’s surroundedby significant landmarks from the commercial
area, educational area and tourism area.
The diversity of people in the centre of the city makes the landscape
design to be embraced, appreciated, formulatedand publicisedin a
harmonization of old-culture patterns – a new make-up for the
modernizationand globalization of the world.
Nowadays, people in the bustlingcity should came across an
extraordinaryatmosphere that increase the productivity of revolutionized
world by means of cultural diversity. People needto have confidence about
the history of cultural formation which brought forward the cultural
differencesinto the global mechanism that changes the world. The
communication of this concept starts from the mini theme park that
concerns on the blend-culture of a multi-racial country.
Objective of the Construction
- To entertain the nearby employee with new approachof copingthe
growth of multi-culture in the working field.
- To nurture the morals of respect towards the cultural art among
youngart generations.
- To raise awareness of the importance of culture harmonization
among professionals in the working field.
- To increase public interests on usingnational art culture as an
implementation on communication, risk and global management,
and professional training.

Conceptual Studies
The mini them park reflect the culture and tradition of Malaysian
culture.
As it located near the national institutions, the park symbolize the
culture preferences and nationality of Malaysia.
As it situated near the worldwide education centres, international
institutions and hotels, the park promote the distinctivenessof national
identity to the international hospitality and tourism in Malaysia.
As it located near the cemeteries, the park upright the ancestor’s
traditional spirit and designed a memorial for their patriotism.
As it situated near the other national-class green landscapes, the park
serves as an elaboration for the greeneries, establishinga fresh significance
– the modernizedcultural and traditional signature of the green spaces in
Kuala Lumpur.
As it located near the hospitals and medical institutions, the park
functions as an extra circulation which communicatespatients to the nature
of authenticity that lies within this symbolical landscape of Malaysia.

Rationale
Accordingto my research and experiencelivingin Malaysia, I aware
that in the working field, there are a great deal of graduates who are
compassionate about the national art culture or with high spirit of
patriotism nurturedby schools. The spirit of this group of people
diminishes alongwith the era of politics and cultures in the working
field. The mini theme park could stimulated the thoughtsand awareness
on these people to take the importance of preservingtheir own interests
towards the uniquenessof national culture.
Benefits
The green landscape of the city is mostly covered with greeneries and
the diversity of nature. To create a new generation’s park, I used the
essence of culture harmonizationto initiate the new trend in teenagers.
They will be attracted to share with, inspire and impress the
unconcerned groups. This bringforth the modernizationin the way that
can bringharmony, and enlighteningand effective changesto the world
that perishingin each second.
I also use this culture in teenagers to tackle the outdated thoughts
among adults, as to create new potential to adjust themselvesto the new
trend of culture in everyday life of the world.
Impacts
The buildingof this mini theme park creates a networkingrest place
that can diffuses the tension, conflicts and anguishes in employees
caused by the hectic environment of the working field. This leisure
networkingbrings differentway of living to the surroundingareas, as it
increases the prospectiveof divergent thinkingamongthe professionals.

INTRODUCTION
In this final project, we are given a task to find a specific empty land with a maximum size of
3500m2 to initiate a small construction project on it in a group of two people. For our group, we
came out with an outcome to use the empty land located along Jalan Yap Kwan Seng.
After surveying, I found that there is no any other place nearer provided for the public to
exercise in this area and are forced to take different means of transportation to travel to another
places. Thus, I decided to propose a fitness centre on this empty land, which accommodate with
commercial block to provide public to enjoy exercising under a complete equipped environment.
The land is a waste of space as it was originally a parking area because public seldom use it.
Hence, it is good to have a fitness centre and commercial block to put this empty land in a good
use.
This fitness centre is a one stop place for people that are into sports and fitness. The Fitness
Centre is a health, recreational, and social facilitygeared towards exercise, sports, and other
physical activities. This is where people can work out and relax and also they can find all types of
sports accessories and facilities. This commercial block is a building consists of grocery shops
and convenience store. This is much easier and convenience for people to get the needed stuff
quickly.
Objective of construction
- To put the empty land in a good use
- To provide a recreation and leisure venue
- To provide a standard and high quality sports environment
- To provide a comfortable and convenient place which is equipped with complete
facilities for exercise
- To raise awareness about importance of exercise for health
- To improve public interests in sports
- To solve the problem of car park

CONCEPT AND IDEAS
The land of site will be fully used for parking area, fitness centre and commercial block.
The land outside the fitness centre and commercial block will be remained as car park as the
building occupies more spaces.
The fitness centre consists of three floors which is basement, ground floor and first floor. The
basement is car park because there are not enough land to provide spaces for car park outside
the building as it was originally a car park area. Ground floor consists of fitness area, shower and
washroom area, office room and waiting area. For the first floor, it consists of gym area, first aid
room area and some convenience store.
The commercial block consists of basement car park and ground floor. Ground floor consists of
convenience stores for commercial purpose.
