Leading a constantly busy team of Helpdesk Advisors who support all Trust staff with any personal
information, expenses, and rostering or payroll queries. Lead the team in ESR and HR Systems
projects and support with everyday queries and contacts that come to the Helpdesk by e-mail, phone
and face to face. Assist with complicated or contentious queries and deal with sensitive issues and
confidential information daily e.g. errors in pay and HR grievances. Actively involved in the current e-
Rostering project roll out incorporating the implementation into business as usual. Lead on
implementation of ESR functions such as e-Learning, Learning Competencies and online Assignment
Change Forms. Production of and analysis of ESR, expenses, rostering and payroll data.
Other managerial duties such as team meetings, appraisals, 1-2-1's and ensuring team targets are
met. Main contact and liaison for out sourced Payroll Team.
Daily responsibilities include scheduling, keeping track of team workload and progress; ensuring the
quality and accuracy of all information that is produced. Ensure communications are sent
appropriately to staff members as required. Keep track of calls and monitor targets and how to
achieve them.
Create all team Trust wide communications; system implementation, project work and standard
responses.
Regular duties include project meetings, advising Senior Teams on HR Systems procedures and
processes and ensuring compliance for audit and NHS terms and conditions. Participate in ESR
Programme Board meetings. Train Trust staff on the use of HR Systems. Present to groups of all staff
levels on new functions or change to systems and new implementations. Go to person for training and
presentation of systems to Exec Team. Create, update and maintain training materials. Daily use of
Microsoft Office programmes including use of Project, Visio and Access.
Assist ESR Lead with meetings, papers, minutes and diary management. Attend meetings on behalf
of the ESR Lead and chair when required. Create and keep project paperwork up to date; track
progress and update risk and action logs. Keep ESR Lead and stakeholders informed.
Keep updated on Trust and national policies and best practice. Contribute to review of policies and
participate in the development of new.

Fieldforce Manager, Verdict Research Ltd, Coventry October 2006 – July 2011
Project Lead - planning, execution and ensuring deliverables are achieved. Quantitative data
gathering and analysis for retail market reports or detailed comparative consultancy for external
parties.
Developed quotes and costings for all Fieldforce projects. Main contact for clients throughout process.
