Catia Design Engineer
• Projects include but not limited to the following:
o Receive data from Ford Motor Company to review for feasibility of tooling of Powertrain parts.
o Create proposals on attachment schemes for better fit form and function.
o Choose proper material from Prospector website for proper mold flow and function.
o Design Catia drawings to indicate dimensions, GD@T and proper notes to create part.
o Create Design Change Request to change any improper data.
o Upload in Oracle any document’s pertaining to data change,

• Projects include the following parts for refueling vapor recovery systems:
o Carbon Canister Modules, which play a role in controlling the loss of evaporative emissions from fuel systems
to the environment.
o Fuel Filler Pipe Assemblies, which are directed at containing and minimizing fuel hydrocarbon emission
vapors from entering the environment.
o Capless Refueling System, which is designed for the OEMS to have more freedom to shrink the fuel pocket
and door area for their design. It also provides cost advantages and an effective way of replacing the fuel cap.

Unigraphics Design Engineer
• Creation of new connector designs that meet updated specifications and criteria for new programs.
• Updated designs from Co Create graphic system to become parametric Unigraphics parts to be utilized for library parts.

• Created Textile Wheel Liners from new math surface to surrounding parts for Fascia Group.
• Updated surfaces to keep proper Fit Form and Function to surrounding parts, including proper attachment point
locations and room for tire jounce, sealant, and electrical application, keeping to the integrity of the styling design.
• Responsible for Design Reviews and releasing math data, including updating the IA-Layouts and the VAS through
TeamCenter Engineering.

what clearance zones should be between parts.
• Retrieved math data from Pro-E Wildfire to input into Unigraphics to create geometry and drawings for customer.

o Plate Asm Clutch: Fly Wheel, Thrust Bearings.
o Clutch Hydraulic Components: Clutch Master Cylinder, Clutch Slave Cylinder.

o Variable Cam Timing: Solenoid & Actuator Asm.
• Accessed latest engineering data from SAP to include in latest model design and for updating Geometric Tolerancing.
• Sent completed file structure to customer thru Trubiquity.
General Motors (contract thru Bartech); Warren, MI 2010 to 2011

• Lead Designer for K2XX SUV Body Side Moldings.
o Updated Surface to match Studio Theme Surface.
o Created attachment strategies to attach moldings to vehicle doors.
o Implemented any changes to moldings from engineering through design reviews.
• Designer for K2XX Pick Up Box Top Caps for General Motors Trucks.
o Created criteria for surface and attachment strategies.
o Updated Surface to meet new studio release and made changes to follow sheet metal process.
• Designer for GMX352 Fuel Filler Door Assembly
o Created and packaged a functional Fuel Filler Door and Assembly to be used for GM North America, Europe,
Korea and China.
o Created criteria to show C.A.R.B. zone (California Air Resources board) and Hand Clearance zones for Fuel
Filler Openings.
• Designer for GMX352 Air Inlet Panels
o Created typical sections for packaging purposes for fit form and function.
o Created parametric model for tooling purposes.
o Updated model / vents to meet air flow standards.
• Created file structures for parts to live in, and updated VAS so files were accessible to rest of the design community.

• Utilized Unigraphics 6.0, TeamCenter, Spectrum, and CDMS.
• Wrote Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) to inform the government of any changes to the design of the doors.
