• Co-ordination of welder/operator training activities and work activities
• Collection and supplying of welding quality statistics to the Welding Department.
• Update the welding consumables record day to day / controlling of consumable storages as per
procedures
• Coordinating with welder and sub contractors to resolve day to day issue.
• Before starting welding activities hot work / height work permit to be taken and follow up the safety rule
and regulations
• Supervise welding surveillance to ensure welders are performing in accordance with approval WPS.
• Ensuring that all installed pipe/fittings are to the correct specification and that the material is in
accordance with the approved drawings
• Supervise the performance of welders on weekly basis by considering no: of repairs and type of
repairs and try to minimize the possibilities of repair,( if required training to be provide to the welder)
• Preparation of daily welding activities, welders production welding status,
• Co-ordination with welding inspectors to coverage the ndt as per requirements
• Experienced with various welding processes like SMAW GTAW, SAW, MIG, FCAW, , Brazing and
various types of joining materials like similar and dissimilar material using any welding process by
Manual, semi-Automatic and Automatic Machine.
