Antigone Exposition Analysis
Antigone
Antigone is a very interesting play that was enjoyable to read. This play is somewhat long but reads quickly as the characters in the play are
interesting to learn about and understand. Antigone is a strong female character that is rare as she holds the position of a heroine in a time when heroes
were more common.
The exposition of this play, that is spoken through the chorus right after Ismene and Antigone first dialogue at the beginning of the play, is that a civil
war went on lead by their two brothers Polyneices and Eteocles. The war has now ended with both of the brother's deaths and Creon in charge. The
death and tragedy of King Oedipus also marks as a part of the exposition. The inciting incident in Antigone is when Creon orders that Polyneices is not
to be buried. This happens right before the play begins and is addressed along with the exposition at the start of the play. This incident triggers
Antigone to make a decision that provides the plot of the story. Antigone decides to disobey Creon's orders and makes a plan to bury her brother
Polyneices anyways. From this point in the play, foreshadowing is made through Ismene's warning for Antigone of the repercussions of her decision.
Later, Teiresias, also foreshadows this play, while Antigone is in prison, when he has a prophecy proclaiming that Creon's fate is that of tragedy, that
the gods are angry with him for his decrees and his actions. This comes true at the end when the tragedy of Antigone, Haemon and Creon's wife occurs.
As the inciting incident affects the actions and decision of Antigone, she declared as the protagonist of this play. She is also recognized as the heroine
that is not only following the laws of the gods and fighting against Creon's tyranny, she is also beloved by the people. This is told through the chorus
and Haemon right after her arrest. Through Antigone, the point of attack is when she goes to bury her brother against Creon's laws. This happens
during the time that Creon is speaking with the chorus after Antigone and Ismene's talk. Complications then arise when it is noticed that someone has
been burying Polyneices, this then leads to the complication that Antigone is caught committing the crime. Then Creon's

The exposition of Hatchet begins with a thirteen year old boy named Brian on his way from New York to Canada on a two person plane to see his

Exhibition Reflection
I feel that my Exhibition this term was a lot better than my last. I was able to do a lot more things I wanted to do and got into more depth with the
topics I talked about. I was able to engage my audience even more with the activity which I would say was a better improvement than last
exhibition. In my Exhibition I felt that I did really well with my volume and how I talked. I was able to talk a lot more in depth and showed my
progress in my topics which I would say I improved a lot in. Another strength I would say is how I was able to interact more with my audience and

I will be able to do this by finishing my exhibition early so I have time to practice and practice. I also want to procrastinate less when I'm making my
exhibition, so my plan to achieve this is by making a day planner. Where it'll have a specific time and what I have to achieve by then, which will
actually help me be more organized with myself. Another challenge I'd like to do is to continue to try and make more activities so I'm able to present
a more engaging exhibition just like this one. Just so my exhibition doesn't end up being boring but even more engaging for my audience, just so they
have something to do rather than me just talking. I'd say that from my Term 1 Exhibition to now, I was able toimprove a lot more in those areas I said

March 31st, of 1889 marked an important day in not only France's history, but America's history as well. The Eiffel Tower was unveiled that day,

Shakespeare uses alliteration as a literary technique in speeches by the Master and the Boatswain. In Act 1 Scene 1 Shakespeare writes, 'take in the
topsail'. This here is already having an effect on the audience because it creates tension and suspense, making them anxious and nervous as to what is
going to happen next. Both characters try to remain calm, but the use of alliteration catches the attention of the audience. This has the effect of
highlighting certain phrases and it also draws attention to the particular words used.
Another literary technique is the use of imperatives. For instance, when the Boatswain says 'Hence!' to the lords, he is telling them to get out of the
way. He orders them to stop talking, 'Silence!' which seems to stun Gonzalo, who does not challenge him. This has the effect of emphasising how
urgent the situation is.
Shakespeare introduces the theme of challenge to authority through the speech of the Boatswain. When the lords come on deck, the Boatswain speaks
rudely to them. For instance, he mocks the importance of the king: 'What cares these roarers for the name of the king?' The audience now knows that
the normal hierarchy is not being kept to, and can expect this theme to be developed in the play. Gonzalo reminds the Boatswain of the important
status of his passengers. However the Boatswain replies as if Gonzalo, the king and the lords are his equal in status. Another example is when the
Boatswain orders the lords below.

In the article "Atlanta Exposition Address" Booker T. Washington was addressing the topic of mutual progress for the nation, which he believed
could only be achieved by cooperation between blacks and whites. He asked for his race to "cast down your bucket where you are." What Mr.
Washington meant by this was that he wanted for the blacks to use the resources right in front of them; to become friends with the whites around
them. If they did, the blacks would be able to create for themselves better lives and better job opportunities. Most blacks could not start at the top of

He recognizes that life is sacred and it should not be given up despite the hard situations that people go through in life. The poem addresses a scenario
where people result to death as a way of overcoming their problems.
6. Denouement shows the characters going back to the normal life they led before the conflict occurred. The speaker comes to realize how life is
consecrated that he even acclaims that life is fine. "Life is fine! Fine as wine! Life is fine!" I think the speaker was happy to be alive because

The Hall of Running Bulls is just one example were the artist of the painting is trying to capture the animals' spirit. Campbell believed that each
chamber of the cave was designed and created for different ceremonies and rituals. One example that Campbell talks about is a painting of a strange
