weather seems to be a very important aspect for our everyday lives. For instance; sunny weather can bring on a very harmonious and beautiful

When all's said and done winter offers variety of sports and activities you can play and just have fun. In addition, winter has such beautiful scenery

It's cool and dark outside of the car as we drive, dark clouds hovering over the plains as fat, heavy drops of water fall from the full clouds. The lights

bottom of the window. As a child, it made me frustrated that it would always ruin the departure of the make–believe escape pods. I hated the sound the
wipers would occasionally make when the window was too dry to give it a slick path to slide over. It was also ugly and reminded me of some sort of

the Sun in the local sky and the length of daylight. Since the Earth is in a constant elliptical rotation around the sun, the Earth is never stagnant. In fact,

A Rainy Day And The Temperatures
The Path 1.Today is a rainy day and the temperature has been in the low forties all day. The environment has shaped my behavior immensely
today. I tend to be extremely productive on rainy days. I love the rain and it puts me in a mellow happy mood and when I'm in those moods I tend
to do things to improve my day of life like cleaning and doing homework. "Tweaking the environment is about making the right behaviors a little
bit easier and the wrong behavior a little bit harder." I am actually writing a majority of this paper today, which happens to be black Friday. Usually
on black Friday my parents make my brother and I leave the house. My mom and dad go shopping early in the morning and wrap a lot of the
presents later in the day. Since it was raining and I was kicked out of the house for the greater good, I figured I would trap myself in Starbucks and
crank out as much work as I could. Having the change of setting and mood of the environment around me I was able to stay more focused than I
would have if I were trying to do work on my kitchen table. I am a person who gets easily distracted so shaping the environment to make change

In a later discussion, O'Brien said the chapter "On The Rainy River" is not a true story. The chapter is a fictionalized account of what would've
happened if he ran away to avoid the draft like he wanted to. This same strategy was applied when he wrote "The Sweetheart of the Song Tra

feel like that anywhere else" (106). The way war makes someone feel is the common strand between these two parts of the book. Tim's experience and
the way war made him feel is again repeated through Mary Anne's character.
Another time when a soldier's experience is projected onto Mary Anne is comparing how Mary Anne started to become quieter along with some
of Rat Kiley's experiences towards the end of his tenure in Vietnam. After Mary Anne had been involved with the war for a few weeks, "she fell
into a restless gloom" (O'Brien 100). Along with the change in emotional state, she began to physically isolate herself (O'Brien 100). This part of
Mary Anne's transformation is a projection of what happened to Rat Kiley later in the book. The entire chapter of "Night Life" discusses how the
war changed the once bright and zany Rat Kiley into someone barely able to function. As his physical and mental condition began to be impacted by
the trauma he has seen, he "[sank] inside inside himself" (O'Brien 209). He "wouldn't say a word" (O'Brien 209). The silence overcame Rat Kiley is an
