3. Brachial artery
While taking blood pressure reading
from the patients, the clinician places
stethoscope over the brachial artery
in the cubital fossa.
4. Median
Cubital Vein
It passes diagonally across
the roof of cubital fossa and
connects the cephalic vein on
the lateral side of the upper
limb with the basilic vein on
the medial side.
5. Anastomoses around
Elbow joint
In most patients, the radial artery is
anastomosed to the cephalic at the
wrist, or the brachial artery is
anastomosed to the cephalic vein
at the elbow.
