Introduction
Potential Difference Inc. has patented three new Clean Tech innovations for Electric Power Generation
and Electric Mobility which all share one unique feature which allows them to harness created
Electromagnetic Field Energy in new, novel and beneficial ways.
All conventional electric generators for example, also harness the same created Electromagnetic Field
Energy but the result is very negative and detrimental to the Earth's environment and to the people who
rely on a healthy environment for survival.
Generator Armature Reaction – the Negative Work performed inside all electric generators with
created Electromagnetic Field Energy is responsible for 100% of the air pollution and C02 produced
during the fossil-fuel electric power generation cycle.
The Canadian invented ReGenX Generator delays the generator's Load Current in the Time Domain.
As a result it reverses the Negative Work performed by Electromagnetic Field Energy otherwise known
as Generator Armature Reaction and colloquially as Electric Vehicle Regenerative “Braking”.
EV regenerative braking is not braking at all in the Newtonian Mechanics sense but rather it is parasitic
Negative Work which robs the EV of its Kinetic Energy.
The Negative Work is performed during electricity generation and in EVs by Electromagnetic Field
Energy and this energy is created at the Sub-Atomic Electron level.
Generator Armature Reaction/EV regenerative braking both refer to a Counter Electromagnetic Torque
which works in opposition to the torque direction supplied to the generator's drive shaft by the prime
mover.
Sub-Atomic Electron Energy is created when an Electron rotates and spins around the Nucleus of an
Atom and it becomes externalized around a current carrying conductor as Electromagnetic Field
Energy when an Electromotive Force (Voltage) is applied to it.
As Sub-Atomic Charged Particles (Electrons) cascade down a current carrying conductor as Electric
Current their created Electromagnetic Field Energy becomes externalized around the conductor.
This created and externalized Sub-Atomic Electron Electromagnetic Field Energy performs Negative
Work; Generator Armature Reaction and EV regenerative braking (EV deceleration).
The key aspect which allows all Potential Difference Inc's innovations to perform Positive Work with
this very same created and externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy is the manipulation of the
Timing of this Energy's externalization around the current carrying conductor.
This is achieved with the introduction of a Load Current Time Delay into the generator's operation.
When the current flow in an electric generator is delayed in the Time Domain, the externalization of the
Electromagnetic Field Energy is also delayed because they are intrinsically linked to each other.
The ReGenX Generator's Load Current Time Delay produces a Complementary Electromagnetic
Torque which works in concert with and in the same direction as the torque direction supplied by the
generator's driveshaft rather than against it.
Generator Armature Reaction (Negative Work performed by the created and externalized
Electromagnetic Field Energy) is also called “Motor Action in a Generator” where the generator
performs Negative Motor Action (Counter Electromagnetic Torque, Negative Work) which works in
opposition to the Motor Action (Torque direction) supplied by the Prime Mover.
The ReGenX Generator also performs “Motor Action” but it is in the form of Positive Work or Positive
Motor Action where the ReGenX Generator's created Torque is Complementary to the Torque direction
supplied by the Prime Mover.
There are two distinct Stages in all electric power generation;
The 1st
Stage is establishing No-Load Rotational Equilibrium where the prime mover is used to bring
the generator up to its operating speed. No electricity is being generated at this stage and depending on
the generator's design and size a certain amount of mechanical input energy is required to be supplied
to the generator by the prime mover to establish No-Load Rotational Equilibrium.
The 2nd
Stage is On-Load Electric Power Generation where the generator delivers electric power to a
load. Conventional Generator Armature Reaction (Negative Motor Action) dictates that the energy
created inside the generator will cause the prime mover to decelerate and additional input energy must
then be supplied to the prime mover in order to keep the generator from stalling the entire system.
2nd
Stage, additional input energy requirement to the prime mover means additional financial input cost
in fossil-fuel based electricity generation and it also means additional environmental costs in the form
of air pollution and C02.
For every single Watt of Electricity Generated, an equivalent 1 Watt of Mechanical Input Power must
be supplied to the generator from the Prime Mover.
In 2018 about 16,000 Trillion Watts of electricity was generated on Earth with fossil-fuels.
If those fossil-fuel electricity generating systems were 20% efficient, it represents about 80,000 Trillion
Watts of Mechanical Input Power and 80,000 Trillion Watts worth of Air Pollution and C02 to generate
that 16,000 Trillion Watts of electricity for human use.
The 2nd
Stage of Electricity Generation: the required 80,000 Trillion Watts of Mechanical Input Power
increase and the 80,000 Trillion Watts worth of Air Pollution and C02 are both due solely to Generator
Armature Reaction.
Effect of Eliminating Generator Armature Reaction in Electricity Generation (Stage 2)
When Generator Armature Reaction is eliminated in electricity generation, the Mechanical Input Power
required to generate 16,000 Trillion Watts of electricity with fossil-fuels drops to 0.00 Watts.
The financial input cost required to generate 16,000 Trillion Watts of electricity drops to $0.00.
The Air Pollution and C02 produced during Fossil-Fuel Based Electricity Generation (for any amount
of electricity generated and forever) on Planet Earth drops to zero.
Air pollution deaths associated with Coal-Fired Electricity Generation in India, China and all countries
can eventually be reduced to zero – forever.
The 2nd
Stage Mechanical Input Power increase requirement for the generation of 16,000 Trillion Watts
of electricity with fossil-fuel powered ReGenX Generators is 0.00 Watts.
The 2nd
Stage Financial Input Cost requirement for fossil-fuel powered ReGenX Generators is $0.00.
The 2nd
Stage Air Pollution and C02 produced with fossil-fuel powered ReGenX Generators are both
0.00 kgs.
The 1st
Stage energy input requirement for an equivalently sized ReGenX Generator is exactly the same
as it is for a conventional generator.
However when the ReGenX Generator is placed On-Load (2nd
Stage) the Input Power requirement to
the prime mover does not increase but rather it decreases and the more power generated to a load the
greater the prime mover input energy decrease.
ReGenX Generator Electricity Generation requires less Input Energy, less Financial Input Energy Cost,
and produces less Air Pollution when Generating Electricity than is required to establish No-Load
Rotational Equilibrium.
Key Scientific and Engineering Features of all Existing Motors and Generators
It is universally accepted that all Electric Generators are machines that convert Mechanical Input Power
to Electrical Output Power.
And all Electric Motors convert Electrical Input Energy to Mechanical Output Energy.
The conversion rates for all generators and motors is accepted as being less than 100% efficient.
Generator Armature Reaction, the Negative Mechanical Work Output performed by all electric
generators while generating electricity in Stage 2 (Negative Motor Action in a Generator) is always
ignored in their efficiency calculations otherwise their total Absolute Generator Efficiency would
exceed 100%, and virtually all the Laws of Physics would need to be rewrtitten.
To avoid this, it is scientifically accepted that all electric generators have the ability to violate the laws
of physics.
They can violate Newton's 1st
Law, the Work-Energy Principle and can perform Negative Work for free
without energy.
New Scientific Revelations as a Result of Potential Difference Inc. Research
What has not yet been considered nor accepted is that all electric generators also produce Negative
Mechanical Output Power, meaning that they all perform Negative Work with Created and Externalized
Electromagnetic Field Energy.
The Work-Energy Principle dictates that Negative Work is performed when the Kinetic Energy of a
system is reduced (the system is decelerated).
It also dictates that Positive Work is performed when the Kinetic Energy of a system is increased (the
system accelerated).
In both cases of Positive and Negative Work, Energy must be present somewhere in the system because
Energy is the Currency which is required in order to perform Work in any direction.
Newton's Third Law and Lenz's Law both require that the “Equal and Opposite Reaction” which is
manifested in all electric generators – occurs simultaneously and instantaneously.
Lenz's Law dictates that the “equal and opposite [instantaneous] reaction resists the change that
produces it.”
Potential Difference Inc.'s research demonstrates that when the “Equal and Opposite Reaction” is
delayed in the Time Domain so that it cannot occur simultaneously but rather occurs independently and
variably, an “Equal and Identical Reaction” is produced.
The Net Effect of producing an Equal and Identical Reaction is that it assists the change that produces
it – and that changes everything.
New Clean Tech Innovations which Demonstrate the New Revelations
ReGenX Generator Innovation
Potential Difference Inc. has developed and patented a new Electric Generator design (ReGenX
Generator) which has the ability to perform Positive Work with created Sub-Atomic Electron Energy
when the timing of this energy's externalization around a current bearing wire is Delayed in the Time
Domain.
Generator and improved coil therefor having electrodynamic properties

As a result, the new ReGenX Electric Generator does not require any Mechanical Input Energy when
delivering Electrical Output Energy because no Negative Work (no Generator Armature Reaction) is
being performed inside the generator by created and externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy.
Mechanical Input Power is required by all conventional electric generators when they are placed on-
load from no-load at Rotational Equilibrium, when electric current flows in the generator coils because
Sub-Atomic Electron Electromagnetic Field Energy is created and externalized around the coils.
This Electromagnetic Field Energy performs Negative Mechanical Work on the generator's rotor
(rotating magnetic field) and it reduces the Kinetic Energy of the prime mover, (it produces system
deceleration) thus additional Mechanical Input Energy must be supplied to the generator's drive shaft
by the prime mover at the same rate it is being created inside the generator.
For every 1 Watt of Electric Output Energy Generated by a conventional electric
generator an equivalent 1 Watt of Mechanical Input Energy must be supplied
to the generator's drive shaft by the prime mover in order to overcome
the Negative Work being performed the Sub-Atomic Electron Electromagnetic
Field Energy.
For every 1 Watt of Electric Output Energy Generated by a ReGenX Electric
Generator an equivalent 0.00 Watts of Mechanical Input Energy must be supplied
to the generator's drive shaft by the prime mover because Positive Work is being
performed by the Sub -Atomic Electron Electromagnetic Field Energy.
A 1 MW conventional electric generator will require 1 MW of
Mechanical Input Power when placed On-Load from No-
Load (Rotational Equilibrium) because 1 MW of Negative
Work is being performed inside the generator by the created
Sub-Atomic Electron Electromagnetic Field Energy.
A 1 MW ReGenX Electric Generators will require 0.00 Watts
of Mechanical Input Power when placed On-Load from No-
Load (Rotational Equilibrium) because 0.00 Watts of
Negative Work is being performed inside the generator by the
Sub-Atomic Electron Electromagnetic Field Energy.
In the case of a conventional generator's fossil-fuel based prime mover; additional fuel input must be
supplied to the prime mover in Stage 2 and additional air pollution and C02 is produced above what is
required to establish no-load Rotational Equilibrium in Stage 1.
In the case of a ReGenX Generator's fossil-fuel based prime mover; zero additional fuel input (no
additional input cost) must be supplied to the prime mover in Stage 2 and no additional air pollution
and C02 is produced above what is required to establish no-load Rotational Equilibrium in Stage 1.
Because zero Mechanical Input Energy is required by the ReGenX Generator when placed on-load and
when generating electricity its efficiency is infinite.
ReGen-X Quantum Motor Innovation
Potential Difference Inc. has developed and patented a new Electric Motor design (ReGen-X Quantum
Motor) which has the ability to perform Positive Work solely with created Sub-Atomic Electron
Energy.
The new Regen-X Quantum Electric Motor design requires zero Electrical Input Energy when
outputting Mechanical Energy and performing Work.
The conversion rates for Potential Difference ReGen-X Quantum Motors is infinite.

ReGenX Generator for Electric Power Generation
The US patented ReGenX Generator is the world's first and only electric generator design which does
not require any Mechanical Input Power when placed on-load and when generating Electric Output
Power.
The ReGenX Generator operates with a Load Current Delay which is manifested above the ReGenX
Generator Coil's Critical Minimum Frequency of Operation.
The Load Current Delay – also delays the timing of the Sub-Atomic Electron Energy's Electromagnetic
Field Energy externalization around the ReGenX Generator coil such that its effect on the generator's
rotor (rotating magnetic field) is an increase in its Kinetic Energy (system acceleration) and a decrease
in the prime mover's on-load power consumption to a level below that which is required to establish
no-load Rotational Equilibrium.
Recall that; the “instantaneous” timing of the Sub-Atomic Electron Energy's Electromagnetic Field
Energy externalization around the conventional generator coil is such that its effect on the generator's
rotor (rotating magnetic field) is a decrease in its Kinetic Energy (system deceleration) and an increase
in the prime mover's on-load power consumption to a level higher than what is required to establish no-
load Rotational Equilibrium.
The Time Delayed Electromagnetic Field Energy externalization around the ReGenX Generator coil
performs Positive Work (system Kinetic Energy increase/acceleration) as opposed to Negative Work
(system Kinetic Energy reduction/deceleration) as with all conventional electric generator designs.
Because the prime mover's power consumption decreases when the ReGenX Generator is placed on-
load, the Mechanical Input Power to the ReGenX Generator's drive is also reduced to a level below no-
load Rotational Equilibrium.
At Rotational Equilibrium the Mechanical Power in any drive shaft is 0.00 Watts because the Net
Torque in that drive shaft is zero.
Mechanical Drive Shaft Power = Torque x Speed.
Electric Generator Efficiency Calculation Example
When an electric generator is placed on-load from no-load (Rotational Equilibrium) and if it delivers 9
Watts of electric power to a load, with a corresponding 10 Watt increase in mechanical input power to
the generator's drive shaft – that generator is said to be 90% efficient.
Newton's First Law and the Work-Energy Principle both ensure that if the Prime Mover does not
consume additional energy it cannot add additional Mechanical Input Power to the drive shaft and it
cannot increase it above the no-load Rotational Equilibrium level of 0.00 Watts.
When an electric generator is placed on-load from no-load (Rotational Equilibrium) and when it
delivers 9 Watts of electric power to a load, with a corresponding 0.00 Watt increase in Mechanical
Input Power to the generator (a 0.00 W Prime Mover Power Consumption increase) – that generator is
said to be infinitely efficient.
2) ReGen-X Quantum Motor for Electric Mobility and Electric Power Generation
The US patented ReGen-X Quantum Motor is the world's first and only electric motor design which
does not require any Electric Input Power when producing Mechanical Output (Positive Work, Kinetic
Energy increase, System Acceleration).
Where the ReGenX Generator's output is connected to a load (battery) the ReGen-X Quantum Motor is
essentially a ReGenX Generator with a zero resistance load, i.e. a dead short circuit and maximum
current flow in the coils.
In any conventional electric generator a dead short will produce the maximum Negative Work or
system deceleration.
In the ReGen-X Quantum Motor a dead short produces the maximum Positive Work or system
acceleration.
The ReGen-X Quantum Motor Coil produces the maximum Kinetic Energy increase/system
acceleration and the maximum Electromagnetic Field Energy Flux Harvesting.
Electromagnetic Field Energy Flux Harvesting
Electromagnetic Field Energy Flux Harvesting occurs when the created and externalized
Electromagnetic Field Energy around a ReGen-X Quantum Motor coil is Mutually Inductively Coupled
into a ReGenX Generator Coil and where the Electrical Output of the coil is increased accordingly.
ReGenX Generator Load Current Delay
The ReGenX Generator's Load Current Time Delay is manifested above the coil's Critical Minimum
Frequency of Operation.
The 50 - 90 degree Load Current Delay reverses the Negative Work (system deceleration) which is
performed in all conventioal generator by created Electromagnetic Field Energy and it allows this
created energy to perform Positive Work (system acceleration) instead.
The prime mover's normally required increase in mechanical input power delivered to the generator's
drive shaft is eliminated altogether and in fact the prime mover's power consumption for a ReGenX
Generator is always less than is required to establish no-load (Rotational Equilibrium).
At Rotational Equilibrium the Mechanical Power in a Drive Shaft is 0.00 Watts.
When the ReGenX Generator is placed on-load, it delivers Electric Output Power with less Mechanical
Input Power than was available at no-load (Rotational Equilibrium) i.e. less than 0.00 Watts.
The more Electric Power delivered to the load by a ReGenX Generator, the greater the decrease in the
prime mover's energy consumption and the greater the reduction in Prime Mover supplied Mechanical
Input Power below 0.00 Watts.
EV regenerative braking is replaced with EV Regenerative Acceleration where the more power sent to
the EV's batteries the more the EV is accelerated, and the less plug-in recharging is required.
Importance of Frequency of Operation – Critical Minimum Frequency
When the ReGenX Generator coil is operated below its Critical Minimum Frequency of Operation the
generator coil operates like any normal generator coil and performs Negative Work (system
deceleration) and an increase in prime mover power consumption.
Detailed Load Current Sine Wave Analysis
Negative Work Performed by created and externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy
The conventional generator coil's Load Current Sine Wave is shown in Green.
The conventional generator coil's Load Current Sine Wave can be used to establish the relative Physical
Position of the generator rotor's Rotating Magnetic Field Pole with respect to the generator coil's core.
Point 1 is called the Node – where the North and South pole rotor magnetic fields are both equal
distances from the generator coil's core.
Point 3 is also called the Node – where the same conditions apply.
Point 2 & 6 is called the Crest – where the North Pole rotor magnetic field is at its closest point to the
generator coils core, neither approaching nor receding.
Point 8 (not shown) is the Trough (bottom Sine Wave) where the South Pole rotor magnet is at its
closest point to the generator coils core, neither approaching nor receding.
From point 1 to point 2 we have a North Pole rotor magnetic field approaching the coil's core.
At Node point 1 the induced Voltage and Current in the generator coil is 0 Volts and 0 Amps
respectively.
Because the loads used are identical Purely Resistive loads the Current and Voltage Sine Waves are
each in Phase with each other.
At Sine Wave Crest, point 2, 6 the induced Voltage (and Current) in the generator coil is at its
maximum level.
At the Sine Wave Crest, the induced current in the coil is maximum and the Negative Work being
performed on the generator's rotating magnetic field is also at its maximum level.
From point 1 to point 2 the induced B Field (externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy) created
around the conventional generator coil is also a North Pole which resists the rotor magnet's approach as
is explained in Lenz's Law of Induction.
Negative Work is performed by the created and externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy and the
Kinetic Energy of the generator's rotating magnetic field is reduced.
The prime mover responds by consuming additional input energy and it delivers additional mechanical
power to the generator's drive shaft.
At point 6, 2 (Sine Wave Crest) the rotor's North Pole magnetic field is at its closest point to the coil's
core at Top Dead Centre.
At point 6, 2 Sine Wave Crest, the induced Voltage (and Current) in the coil is maximum.
From point 2 (TDC) to point 3 we have a North Pole rotor magnetic field which is now moving away
from the coil's core.
The Voltage and Current induced in the generator coil are both decreasing towards zero at Node 3.
The induced B Field which is created around the coil is now a South Pole which resists the rotor
magnet's departure away from the coil's core at TDC.
Negative Work is being performed by the created and externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy.
At the Sine Wave Node (point 1) the Voltage and Current induced in the generator coil are both zero
because the generator coil is physically situated directly between the North and South poles.
Zero current means zero externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy and no effect on the generator's
rotating magnetic field.
As the North Pole Rotor magnet approaches the generator coil's core, the induced Voltage and Current
increase where is reaches its maximum at the Sine Wave Crest (point 2, 6).
The maximum amount of Negative Work (generator rotor Kinetic Energy reduction) is produced at the
Sine Wave Crest.
Conversely the ReGenX Generator coil's Load Current Time Delay is continuing to perform Positive
Work which is increasing (generator rotor Kinetic Energy increase) right up until point 5.
NET Positive Work Performed by created and externalized Electormagnetic Field Energy
The ReGenX Generator coils's Load Current is shown in Purple.
From point 4 to point 7 the ReGenX Generator coil is performing Negative Work resisting the
generator rotor's rotation just like the conventional generator coil is but the current magnitude is low as
is the magnitude of Negative Work performed by the Electromagnetic Field Energy.
After point 6 we have a North Pole rotor magnetic field which is physically moving away from the
coil's core at TDC.
The ReGenX Generator's Time Delayed Load Current at point 7 to point 5 is still producing a North
Pole induced B Field which is also increasing in magnitude up to point 5.
The ReGenX Generator coil's created and externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy assits the North
Pole's departure away from the coil's core (it increases its Kinetic Energy in other words).
Positive Work (Kinetic Energy increase, system acceleration) is performed by the created, externalized
and Time Delayed Electromagnetic Field Energy created around the ReGenX Generator coil.
At point 2 to point 3 the conventional generator coil is producing its maximum Negative Torque and it
is performing its maximum Negative Work but it is reducing in its magnitude as we approach the Sine
Wave Node at point 3
While at the same time, the ReGenX Generator coil is producing an increasing amount of Positive
Torque and Positive Work right up to the ReGenX Generator coil's Sine Wave Crest at point 5.
The NET effect is that the ReGenX Generator's Positive Torque and Positive Work is greater in
magnitude than the conventional generator coil's Negative Torque and Negative Work.
And we end up with an electric generator innovation that operates at infinite efficiency; requires no
mechanical input power when generating more electrical output power than the conventional electric
generator.

The optimized ReGenX Coil is a multi-layer coil where the desired coil function is selected by a CPU
depending on operating conditions.
ReGenX Generator and ReGen-X Quantum Motor Demonstration Prototypes Protocol
3 demonstration prototypes will be employed in the technology introduction, they include:
1. The ReGenX Generator and ReGen-X Quantum Motor C Core Prototype which represent the
Mature IP.
2. The ReGenX Concentric E Core Generator Prototype which is used to demonstrate the
ReGenX Generator's Load Current Delay on the oscilloscope.
3. The roadworthy ReGenX Regenerative Acceleration Electric Vehicle (ebike Prototype) which
is a practical demonstration platform for the ReGenX Generator and Quantum Motor.
C Core Prototype Demonstration
1) Introduce the ReGenX Generator and ReGen-X Quantum Motor C Core prototypes.

ReGenX Generator and Quantum Motor Prototype
2) Explain that ReGenX Generator coils have been manufactured and tested with Regenerative
Acceleration which can handle more than 60 Amps per coil (1,000 Watts/coil).
3) Introduce no-load Rotational Equilibrium where drive shaft Net Torque and Mechanical Power
are zero Nm and zero Watts respectively.
4) Bring the ReGenX Generator and ReGen-X Quantum Motor up to no-load Rotational
Equilibrium – where Newton's 1st
Law and the Work-Energy Principle both establish that an
increase in Kinetic Energy, Angular Acceleration cannot occur without external energy being
introduced into the system.
5) Demonstrate the ReGen-X Quantum Motor performing Positive Work (system Kinetic Energy
increase, acceleration) with zero externally supplied electrical input energy (performing with
and operating at infinite efficiency).
6) Demonstrate the ReGenX Generator generating electricity and simultaneously performing
Positive Work (system Kinetic Energy increase, acceleration) with zero prime mover energy
consumption and zero prime mover supplied mechanical drive shaft input energy (also at
infinite efficiency).
7) Establish that the prime mover input power consumption does not increase (but actually
decreases) when the ReGen-X Quantum Motor is activated and or when the ReGenX
Generator is placed on-load and generating electric power to a battery.
8) Establish that the more power delivered to the battery by the ReGenX Generator the more the
system speed is increased (Positive Work is performed, Kinetic Energy increased) and the
more the prime mover power consumption is reduced.
9) Connect the “Conventional Generator Coil” and establish that under identical initial no-load
operating conditions; speed, torque etc. that the conventional generator coil performs Negative
Work and it decelerates the system – which necessitates a prime mover input power
consumption increase and additional mechanical power being delivered to the generator's
drive shaft.
10) Establish that the ReGen-X Quantum Motor coils can be employed to overide the Negative
Work being performed by the conventional generator coil (operating at “less” than 100%
efficiency) and that Positive Work can be performed and infinite efficiency operation can be
established where the prime mover consumes less input power and delivers less mechanical
power to the drive shaft than is required at no-load (Rotational Equilibrium).
11) Demonstrate simulated CPU activity in an Electric Vehicle application – where the
generator/motor performance is optimized to meet driving conditions.

12) Establish that the drive shaft Torque is increasing and the Kinetic Energy of ths system is
increasing (accelerating) but no electrical energy is being supplied to the ReGen-X Quantum
Motor coils.
13) Demonstrate Flux Harvesting where the conventional generator coil's electrical output power
is increased simultaneously when the ReGen-X Quantum Motor coils are activated.
14) Demonstrate the same action with all ReGenX Generator coils and no Quantum Motor coils.
15) Demonstrate the ReGenX Generator coils operating below their Critical Minimum Frequency
where Negative Work is performed by the ReGenX Generator coil, the Kinetic Energy of the
system is reduced and the prime mover input power consumption increases denoting
increased mechanical input power being supplied to the generator's drive shaft.

16) Connect the Concentric E Core Prototype for demonstration.
17) Explain the origin of the necessity for the Concentric E Core and
the dual coil approach; conventional generator coil and ReGenX
Generator coil operating as the original ReGenX Quantum Motor
coil.
18) Briefly explain the ReGenX Generator coil IP iteration evolution
culminating in the now mature IP.
19) Bring the Concentric E Core Prototype up to no-load Rotational
Equilibrium and note the prime mover's input energy
consumption.
20) Place the conventional generator coil on-load and observe
system deceleration. (Negative Work being performed on the
generator's rotor and on the prime mover).
21) Observe the prime mover's response i.e. increased input power consumption and increased
torque and mechanical power supplied to the generator's drive shaft.
22) Observe the Load Current Sine Wave for the conventional generator coil on the oscilloscope.
23) Place the ReGenX Generator coil on-load and observe the system acceleration (Positive Work
being performed on the generator's rotor and on the prime mover).
24) Observe the prime mover's responce i.e. decreased input power consumption and decreased
torque and mechanical power supplied to the generator's drive shaft.
25) Observe the 50 degree Time Delayed Load Current Sine Wave for the ReGenX Generator coil
on the oscilloscope.

26) Establish that the prime mover is consuming less input power while the ReGenX Generator is
delivering more output power to the load than the conventional generator coil.
27) Also establish that the prime mover is cosuming less input power than was required to
establish no-load Rotational Equilibrium while the ReGenX Generator is delivering more output
power to the load than the conventional generator coil.
28) Engage the second ReGenX Generator Coil (Quantum Motor Coil) in the prototype and
demonstrate Flux Harvesting and a 90 degree Load Current Delay.

harvesting while the conventional generator coil is generating electric power to the load.

and increasing the total magnetic flux (permanent magnet field flux + created Electromagnetic
Field Flux) in the conventional generator coil.
31) Introduce the concept of replacing the RegenX Quantum Motor Coils with conventional motor
coils in the Concentric E Core design and the idea of Motor Flux Harvesting.

Introduction Potential Difference Inc. has patented three new Clean Tech innovations for Electric Power Generation and Electric Mobility which all share one unique feature which allows them to harness created Electromagnetic Field Energy in new, novel and beneficial ways. All conventional electric generators for example, also harness the same created Electromagnetic Field Energy but the result is very negative and detrimental to the Earth's environment and to the people who rely on a healthy environment for survival. Generator Armature Reaction – the Negative Work performed inside all electric generators with created Electromagnetic Field Energy is responsible for 100% of the air pollution and C02 produced during the fossil-fuel electric power generation cycle. The Canadian invented ReGenX Generator delays the generator's Load Current in the Time Domain. As a result it reverses the Negative Work performed by Electromagnetic Field Energy otherwise known as Generator Armature Reaction and colloquially as Electric Vehicle Regenerative “Braking”. EV regenerative braking is not braking at all in the Newtonian Mechanics sense but rather it is parasitic Negative Work which robs the EV of its Kinetic Energy. The Negative Work is performed during electricity generation and in EVs by Electromagnetic Field Energy and this energy is created at the Sub-Atomic Electron level. Generator Armature Reaction/EV regenerative braking both refer to a Counter Electromagnetic Torque which works in opposition to the torque direction supplied to the generator's drive shaft by the prime mover. Sub-Atomic Electron Energy is created when an Electron rotates and spins around the Nucleus of an Atom and it becomes externalized around a current carrying conductor as Electromagnetic Field Energy when an Electromotive Force (Voltage) is applied to it. As Sub-Atomic Charged Particles (Electrons) cascade down a current carrying conductor as Electric Current their created Electromagnetic Field Energy becomes externalized around the conductor. This created and externalized Sub-Atomic Electron Electromagnetic Field Energy performs Negative Work; Generator Armature Reaction and EV regenerative braking (EV deceleration). The key aspect which allows all Potential Difference Inc's innovations to perform Positive Work with this very same created and externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy is the manipulation of the Timing of this Energy's externalization around the current carrying conductor. This is achieved with the introduction of a Load Current Time Delay into the generator's operation. When the current flow in an electric generator is delayed in the Time Domain, the externalization of the Electromagnetic Field Energy is also delayed because they are intrinsically linked to each other. The ReGenX Generator's Load Current Time Delay produces a Complementary Electromagnetic Torque which works in concert with and in the same direction as the torque direction supplied by the generator's driveshaft rather than against it.

Generator Armature Reaction (Negative Work performed by the created and externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy) is also called “Motor Action in a Generator” where the generator performs Negative Motor Action (Counter Electromagnetic Torque, Negative Work) which works in opposition to the Motor Action (Torque direction) supplied by the Prime Mover. The ReGenX Generator also performs “Motor Action” but it is in the form of Positive Work or Positive Motor Action where the ReGenX Generator's created Torque is Complementary to the Torque direction supplied by the Prime Mover. There are two distinct Stages in all electric power generation; The 1st Stage is establishing No-Load Rotational Equilibrium where the prime mover is used to bring the generator up to its operating speed. No electricity is being generated at this stage and depending on the generator's design and size a certain amount of mechanical input energy is required to be supplied to the generator by the prime mover to establish No-Load Rotational Equilibrium. The 2nd Stage is On-Load Electric Power Generation where the generator delivers electric power to a load. Conventional Generator Armature Reaction (Negative Motor Action) dictates that the energy created inside the generator will cause the prime mover to decelerate and additional input energy must then be supplied to the prime mover in order to keep the generator from stalling the entire system. 2nd Stage, additional input energy requirement to the prime mover means additional financial input cost in fossil-fuel based electricity generation and it also means additional environmental costs in the form of air pollution and C02. For every single Watt of Electricity Generated, an equivalent 1 Watt of Mechanical Input Power must be supplied to the generator from the Prime Mover. In 2018 about 16,000 Trillion Watts of electricity was generated on Earth with fossil-fuels. If those fossil-fuel electricity generating systems were 20% efficient, it represents about 80,000 Trillion Watts of Mechanical Input Power and 80,000 Trillion Watts worth of Air Pollution and C02 to generate that 16,000 Trillion Watts of electricity for human use. The 2nd Stage of Electricity Generation: the required 80,000 Trillion Watts of Mechanical Input Power increase and the 80,000 Trillion Watts worth of Air Pollution and C02 are both due solely to Generator Armature Reaction. Effect of Eliminating Generator Armature Reaction in Electricity Generation (Stage 2) When Generator Armature Reaction is eliminated in electricity generation, the Mechanical Input Power required to generate 16,000 Trillion Watts of electricity with fossil-fuels drops to 0.00 Watts. The financial input cost required to generate 16,000 Trillion Watts of electricity drops to $0.00. The Air Pollution and C02 produced during Fossil-Fuel Based Electricity Generation (for any amount of electricity generated and forever) on Planet Earth drops to zero. Air pollution deaths associated with Coal-Fired Electricity Generation in India, China and all countries can eventually be reduced to zero – forever.
  • 4. The 2nd Stage Mechanical Input Power increase requirement for the generation of 16,000 Trillion Watts of electricity with fossil-fuel powered ReGenX Generators is 0.00 Watts. The 2nd Stage Financial Input Cost requirement for fossil-fuel powered ReGenX Generators is $0.00. The 2nd Stage Air Pollution and C02 produced with fossil-fuel powered ReGenX Generators are both 0.00 kgs. The 1st Stage energy input requirement for an equivalently sized ReGenX Generator is exactly the same as it is for a conventional generator. However when the ReGenX Generator is placed On-Load (2nd Stage) the Input Power requirement to the prime mover does not increase but rather it decreases and the more power generated to a load the greater the prime mover input energy decrease. ReGenX Generator Electricity Generation requires less Input Energy, less Financial Input Energy Cost, and produces less Air Pollution when Generating Electricity than is required to establish No-Load Rotational Equilibrium.

Key Scientific and Engineering Features of all Existing Motors and Generators It is universally accepted that all Electric Generators are machines that convert Mechanical Input Power to Electrical Output Power. And all Electric Motors convert Electrical Input Energy to Mechanical Output Energy. The conversion rates for all generators and motors is accepted as being less than 100% efficient. Generator Armature Reaction, the Negative Mechanical Work Output performed by all electric generators while generating electricity in Stage 2 (Negative Motor Action in a Generator) is always ignored in their efficiency calculations otherwise their total Absolute Generator Efficiency would exceed 100%, and virtually all the Laws of Physics would need to be rewrtitten. To avoid this, it is scientifically accepted that all electric generators have the ability to violate the laws of physics. They can violate Newton's 1st Law, the Work-Energy Principle and can perform Negative Work for free without energy. New Scientific Revelations as a Result of Potential Difference Inc. Research What has not yet been considered nor accepted is that all electric generators also produce Negative Mechanical Output Power, meaning that they all perform Negative Work with Created and Externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy. The Work-Energy Principle dictates that Negative Work is performed when the Kinetic Energy of a system is reduced (the system is decelerated). It also dictates that Positive Work is performed when the Kinetic Energy of a system is increased (the system accelerated). Newton's Third Law and Lenz's Law both require that the “Equal and Opposite Reaction” which is manifested in all electric generators – occurs simultaneously and instantaneously. Lenz's Law dictates that the “equal and opposite [instantaneous] reaction resists the change that produces it.” Potential Difference Inc.'s research demonstrates that when the “Equal and Opposite Reaction” is delayed in the Time Domain so that it cannot occur simultaneously but rather occurs independently and variably, an “Equal and Identical Reaction” is produced. For every 1 Watt of Electric Output Energy Generated by a conventional electric generator an equivalent 1 Watt of Mechanical Input Energy must be supplied to the generator's drive shaft by the prime mover in order to overcome the Negative Work being performed the Sub-Atomic Electron Electromagnetic Field Energy. For every 1 Watt of Electric Output Energy Generated by a ReGenX Electric Generator an equivalent 0.00 Watts of Mechanical Input Energy must be supplied to the generator's drive shaft by the prime mover because Positive Work is being performed by the Sub -Atomic Electron Electromagnetic Field Energy. A 1 MW conventional electric generator will require 1 MW of Mechanical Input Power when placed On-Load from No- Load (Rotational Equilibrium) because 1 MW of Negative Work is being performed inside the generator by the created Sub-Atomic Electron Electromagnetic Field Energy. In the case of a conventional generator's fossil-fuel based prime mover; additional fuel input must be supplied to the prime mover in Stage 2 and additional air pollution and C02 is produced above what is required to establish no-load Rotational Equilibrium in Stage 1. The ReGenX Generator operates with a Load Current Delay which is manifested above the ReGenX Generator Coil's Critical Minimum Frequency of Operation. The Load Current Delay – also delays the timing of the Sub-Atomic Electron Energy's Electromagnetic Field Energy externalization around the ReGenX Generator coil such that its effect on the generator's rotor (rotating magnetic field) is an increase in its Kinetic Energy (system acceleration) and a decrease in the prime mover's on-load power consumption to a level below that which is required to establish no-load Rotational Equilibrium. Recall that; the “instantaneous” timing of the Sub-Atomic Electron Energy's Electromagnetic Field Energy externalization around the conventional generator coil is such that its effect on the generator's rotor (rotating magnetic field) is a decrease in its Kinetic Energy (system deceleration) and an increase in the prime mover's on-load power consumption to a level higher than what is required to establish no- load Rotational Equilibrium. The Time Delayed Electromagnetic Field Energy externalization around the ReGenX Generator coil performs Positive Work (system Kinetic Energy increase/acceleration) as opposed to Negative Work (system Kinetic Energy reduction/deceleration) as with all conventional electric generator designs. Because the prime mover's power consumption decreases when the ReGenX Generator is placed on- load, the Mechanical Input Power to the ReGenX Generator's drive is also reduced to a level below no- load Rotational Equilibrium. At Rotational Equilibrium the Mechanical Power in any drive shaft is 0.00 Watts because the Net Torque in that drive shaft is zero. Mechanical Drive Shaft Power = Torque x Speed. Electric Generator Efficiency Calculation Example When an electric generator is placed on-load from no-load (Rotational Equilibrium) and if it delivers 9 Watts of electric power to a load, with a corresponding 10 Watt increase in mechanical input power to the generator's drive shaft – that generator is said to be 90% efficient. Newton's First Law and the Work-Energy Principle both ensure that if the Prime Mover does not consume additional energy it cannot add additional Mechanical Input Power to the drive shaft and it cannot increase it above the no-load Rotational Equilibrium level of 0.00 Watts. When an electric generator is placed on-load from no-load (Rotational Equilibrium) and when it delivers 9 Watts of electric power to a load, with a corresponding 0.00 Watt increase in Mechanical Input Power to the generator (a 0.00 W Prime Mover Power Consumption increase) – that generator is said to be infinitely efficient.
  • 9. 2) ReGen-X Quantum Motor for Electric Mobility and Electric Power Generation The US patented ReGen-X Quantum Motor is the world's first and only electric motor design which does not require any Electric Input Power when producing Mechanical Output (Positive Work, Kinetic Energy increase, System Acceleration). Where the ReGenX Generator's output is connected to a load (battery) the ReGen-X Quantum Motor is essentially a ReGenX Generator with a zero resistance load, i.e. a dead short circuit and maximum current flow in the coils. In any conventional electric generator a dead short will produce the maximum Negative Work or system deceleration. In the ReGen-X Quantum Motor a dead short produces the maximum Positive Work or system acceleration. The ReGen-X Quantum Motor Coil produces the maximum Kinetic Energy increase/system acceleration and the maximum Electromagnetic Field Energy Flux Harvesting. Electromagnetic Field Energy Flux Harvesting Electromagnetic Field Energy Flux Harvesting occurs when the created and externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy around a ReGen-X Quantum Motor coil is Mutually Inductively Coupled into a ReGenX Generator Coil and where the Electrical Output of the coil is increased accordingly. ReGenX Generator Load Current Delay The ReGenX Generator's Load Current Time Delay is manifested above the coil's Critical Minimum Frequency of Operation. The 50 - 90 degree Load Current Delay reverses the Negative Work (system deceleration) which is performed in all conventioal generator by created Electromagnetic Field Energy and it allows this created energy to perform Positive Work (system acceleration) instead. The prime mover's normally required increase in mechanical input power delivered to the generator's drive shaft is eliminated altogether and in fact the prime mover's power consumption for a ReGenX Generator is always less than is required to establish no-load (Rotational Equilibrium). At Rotational Equilibrium the Mechanical Power in a Drive Shaft is 0.00 Watts. When the ReGenX Generator is placed on-load, it delivers Electric Output Power with less Mechanical Input Power than was available at no-load (Rotational Equilibrium) i.e. less than 0.00 Watts. The more Electric Power delivered to the load by a ReGenX Generator, the greater the decrease in the prime mover's energy consumption and the greater the reduction in Prime Mover supplied Mechanical Input Power below 0.00 Watts. EV regenerative braking is replaced with EV Regenerative Acceleration where the more power sent to the EV's batteries the more the EV is accelerated, and the less plug-in recharging is required.
  • 10. Importance of Frequency of Operation – Critical Minimum Frequency When the ReGenX Generator coil is operated below its Critical Minimum Frequency of Operation the generator coil operates like any normal generator coil and performs Negative Work (system deceleration) and an increase in prime mover power consumption. Detailed Load Current Sine Wave Analysis Negative Work Performed by created and externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy The conventional generator coil's Load Current Sine Wave is shown in Green. The conventional generator coil's Load Current Sine Wave can be used to establish the relative Physical Position of the generator rotor's Rotating Magnetic Field Pole with respect to the generator coil's core. Point 1 is called the Node – where the North and South pole rotor magnetic fields are both equal distances from the generator coil's core. Point 3 is also called the Node – where the same conditions apply. Point 2 & 6 is called the Crest – where the North Pole rotor magnetic field is at its closest point to the generator coils core, neither approaching nor receding.
  • 11. Point 8 (not shown) is the Trough (bottom Sine Wave) where the South Pole rotor magnet is at its closest point to the generator coils core, neither approaching nor receding. From point 1 to point 2 we have a North Pole rotor magnetic field approaching the coil's core. At Node point 1 the induced Voltage and Current in the generator coil is 0 Volts and 0 Amps respectively. Because the loads used are identical Purely Resistive loads the Current and Voltage Sine Waves are each in Phase with each other. At Sine Wave Crest, point 2, 6 the induced Voltage (and Current) in the generator coil is at its maximum level. At the Sine Wave Crest, the induced current in the coil is maximum and the Negative Work being performed on the generator's rotating magnetic field is also at its maximum level. From point 1 to point 2 the induced B Field (externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy) created around the conventional generator coil is also a North Pole which resists the rotor magnet's approach as is explained in Lenz's Law of Induction. Negative Work is performed by the created and externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy and the Kinetic Energy of the generator's rotating magnetic field is reduced. The prime mover responds by consuming additional input energy and it delivers additional mechanical power to the generator's drive shaft. At point 6, 2 (Sine Wave Crest) the rotor's North Pole magnetic field is at its closest point to the coil's core at Top Dead Centre. At point 6, 2 Sine Wave Crest, the induced Voltage (and Current) in the coil is maximum. From point 2 (TDC) to point 3 we have a North Pole rotor magnetic field which is now moving away from the coil's core. The Voltage and Current induced in the generator coil are both decreasing towards zero at Node 3. The induced B Field which is created around the coil is now a South Pole which resists the rotor magnet's departure away from the coil's core at TDC. Negative Work is being performed by the created and externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy. At the Sine Wave Node (point 1) the Voltage and Current induced in the generator coil are both zero because the generator coil is physically situated directly between the North and South poles. Zero current means zero externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy and no effect on the generator's rotating magnetic field. As the North Pole Rotor magnet approaches the generator coil's core, the induced Voltage and Current increase where is reaches its maximum at the Sine Wave Crest (point 2, 6). The maximum amount of Negative Work (generator rotor Kinetic Energy reduction) is produced at the Sine Wave Crest.
  • 12. Conversely the ReGenX Generator coil's Load Current Time Delay is continuing to perform Positive Work which is increasing (generator rotor Kinetic Energy increase) right up until point 5. NET Positive Work Performed by created and externalized Electormagnetic Field Energy The ReGenX Generator coils's Load Current is shown in Purple. From point 4 to point 7 the ReGenX Generator coil is performing Negative Work resisting the generator rotor's rotation just like the conventional generator coil is but the current magnitude is low as is the magnitude of Negative Work performed by the Electromagnetic Field Energy. After point 6 we have a North Pole rotor magnetic field which is physically moving away from the coil's core at TDC. The ReGenX Generator's Time Delayed Load Current at point 7 to point 5 is still producing a North Pole induced B Field which is also increasing in magnitude up to point 5. The ReGenX Generator coil's created and externalized Electromagnetic Field Energy assits the North Pole's departure away from the coil's core (it increases its Kinetic Energy in other words). Positive Work (Kinetic Energy increase, system acceleration) is performed by the created, externalized and Time Delayed Electromagnetic Field Energy created around the ReGenX Generator coil. At point 2 to point 3 the conventional generator coil is producing its maximum Negative Torque and it is performing its maximum Negative Work but it is reducing in its magnitude as we approach the Sine Wave Node at point 3 While at the same time, the ReGenX Generator coil is producing an increasing amount of Positive Torque and Positive Work right up to the ReGenX Generator coil's Sine Wave Crest at point 5. The NET effect is that the ReGenX Generator's Positive Torque and Positive Work is greater in magnitude than the conventional generator coil's Negative Torque and Negative Work. And we end up with an electric generator innovation that operates at infinite efficiency; requires no mechanical input power when generating more electrical output power than the conventional electric generator. The ReGenX Concentric E Core Generator Prototype which is used to demonstrate the ReGenX Generator's Load Current Delay on the oscilloscope. 3. The roadworthy ReGenX Regenerative Acceleration Electric Vehicle (ebike Prototype) which is a practical demonstration platform for the ReGenX Generator and Quantum Motor. C Core Prototype Demonstration 1) Introduce the ReGenX Generator and ReGen-X Quantum Motor C Core prototypes. 10 Amp ReGenX Generator / ReGen-X Quantum Motor Commercially Manufactured C Cores ReGenX Generator and Quantum Motor Prototype 2) Explain that ReGenX Generator coils have been manufactured and tested with Regenerative Acceleration which can handle more than 60 Amps per coil (1,000 Watts/coil). 3) Introduce no-load Rotational Equilibrium where drive shaft Net Torque and Mechanical Power are zero Nm and zero Watts respectively. 4) Bring the ReGenX Generator and ReGen-X Quantum Motor up to no-load Rotational Equilibrium – where Newton's 1st Law and the Work-Energy Principle both establish that an increase in Kinetic Energy, Angular Acceleration cannot occur without external energy being introduced into the system. 5) Demonstrate the ReGen-X Quantum Motor performing Positive Work (system Kinetic Energy increase, acceleration) with zero externally supplied electrical input energy (performing with and operating at infinite efficiency).
  • 15. 6) Demonstrate the ReGenX Generator generating electricity and simultaneously performing Positive Work (system Kinetic Energy increase, acceleration) with zero prime mover energy consumption and zero prime mover supplied mechanical drive shaft input energy (also at infinite efficiency). 7) Establish that the prime mover input power consumption does not increase (but actually decreases) when the ReGen-X Quantum Motor is activated and or when the ReGenX Generator is placed on-load and generating electric power to a battery. 8) Establish that the more power delivered to the battery by the ReGenX Generator the more the system speed is increased (Positive Work is performed, Kinetic Energy increased) and the more the prime mover power consumption is reduced. 9) Connect the “Conventional Generator Coil” and establish that under identical initial no-load operating conditions; speed, torque etc. that the conventional generator coil performs Negative Work and it decelerates the system – which necessitates a prime mover input power consumption increase and additional mechanical power being delivered to the generator's drive shaft. 10) Establish that the ReGen-X Quantum Motor coils can be employed to overide the Negative Work being performed by the conventional generator coil (operating at “less” than 100% efficiency) and that Positive Work can be performed and infinite efficiency operation can be established where the prime mover consumes less input power and delivers less mechanical power to the drive shaft than is required at no-load (Rotational Equilibrium). 11) Demonstrate simulated CPU activity in an Electric Vehicle application – where the generator/motor performance is optimized to meet driving conditions. ReGenX Generator and Quantum Motor CPU Function Control 12) Establish that the drive shaft Torque is increasing and the Kinetic Energy of ths system is increasing (accelerating) but no electrical energy is being supplied to the ReGen-X Quantum Motor coils. 13) Demonstrate Flux Harvesting where the conventional generator coil's electrical output power is increased simultaneously when the ReGen-X Quantum Motor coils are activated. 14) Demonstrate the same action with all ReGenX Generator coils and no Quantum Motor coils.

(Negative Work being performed on the generator's rotor and on the prime mover). 21) Observe the prime mover's response i.e. increased input power consumption and increased torque and mechanical power supplied to the generator's drive shaft. 22) Observe the Load Current Sine Wave for the conventional generator coil on the oscilloscope. 23) Place the ReGenX Generator coil on-load and observe the system acceleration (Positive Work being performed on the generator's rotor and on the prime mover). 24) Observe the prime mover's responce i.e. decreased input power consumption and decreased torque and mechanical power supplied to the generator's drive shaft. 25) Observe the 50 degree Time Delayed Load Current Sine Wave for the ReGenX Generator coil on the oscilloscope.
