For this in-class assignment, you will fill out a character map for
Xiomara Batista, the main protagonist of The Poet X by Elizabeth
Acevedo. You must complete all elements of this assignment, cite
textual evidence to support each of your answers, and submit this
assignment to Google Classroom by Sunday, April 18th at 11:59 PM.
How to cite MLA textual evidence:
1. Find quote from the book that supports your answer
2. Find page number the quote is on
3. Find author’s last name
4. Put it all together!
