Background
National Space Technology Strategy
— Prepared by UK National Space Technology Steering Group as
part of the Space IGS.
— Intended to guide the IGS and establish Space Technology
Roadmaps
— National Space Technology Strategy released 2011, updated
2012 and 2014.
— Prioritised technology plan identifying cross cutting technology
themes.
— Identified gaps in UK supply chain
— Themes: Access to Space, Sensing, PNT, Satellite Telecoms and
Robotics & Exploration

— Kick-off meeting on the 5th of June 2015
— ToR reviewed and approved
— Working Groups structure agreed (including
the new Common Technology WG)
