(cut, make and trim) owners understand the value of a quality process or of a quality
controller (QC).
QUESTIONS:
1. Do you currently practice and/use an internal quality controller?
2. If yes, does the current QC follow a set framework for all the processes?
3. Does the framework include: product information, spec-sheet evaluation,
measurements, defects ranking and amendments?
4. Is the framework set against any related regularities or guidelines? E.g. ISO, quality
manual, client requirements etc.
5. Does the criterion include a commitment to continual improvement?
6. Is the framework aligned with meeting product standards?
7. Are there records of the output that were successful or unsuccessful? Was this
reviewed?
8. Are there actions to improve the quality, its processes and the improvement of the
product?
9. Are there regular quality checks done?
10. Is the QC providing services in a timely manner?
11. Does the organisation practice quality at every step of production?
12. Has the organisation provided training to employees on quality control management?
13. Are employees aware of how they contribute to achieve quality objectives?
14. Is the organisation satisfied with the QC function and performance?
