Job Responsibility:
 Preparation of all procedure related to QA/QC
 Conductall stage wise inspection as per approved QAP/ITP with Client,
Owner, and Third Party.
 Visual inspection and reporting of piping weld joints for material like CS,
LTCS ,SS, Low alloy steel, Inconnel ,NACE as per ASME B31.3 and ASME
Sec. VIII DIV.1 for pressure vessels
 Inspect the welding job in fabrication shop both pipe A/G , U/G, to WPS
 Monitoring of various welding process like SMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW,
GMAW etc.
 Witness of Fit up inspection of various Pressure vessels componentand Piping
as per Drawing.
 Carried out New Procedure Qualification and Welder qualification as per
ASME SECIX.
 Have a good knowledge of measuring instrument like(weld gauge ,bevel gauge
,High low gauge ,vernier gauge ,thermometer)related to welding.
 Witness of preheating postheating of job.

2.  Surveillance during PWHT activity.
 Witness of hardness test by polied bar on butt weld.
 Review of MTC.
 Check Proper Backing of Electrode as Applicable.
 Witness of Hydro and Pneumatic test for A/G and U/G piping based on ASME
B31.3.
 Witness of NDT such as DPT, MPT, UT, and review of RT Film.
 Inspection of Incoming material by PMI and physical verification
 Maintaining welder performance doing all spec. class and ASME codes.
 Coordinating with management representative for internal quality audits quality
system and follow up audits.

 Surveillance over fabrication and welding to ensure total compliance as per
drawings and WPS both at onshore and offshore activities.
 Witness of painting inspection and ensure that it is as per client specification
and requirements.
 Witness of Pneumatic/Hydro test/leak test, welder qualification of tests in
plates and pipes in accordance with welding procedure specification/ASME IX
and monitor their continuity records.
