U-neck piping
INTRODUCTION:
Adding piping to the neckline of a cotton dress will make the garment last a
lot longer. The seam of the neckline is less likely to fade or wear thin. I hope
I can demonstrate adequately how to apply piping, but if you need more
help, try searching some free sewing videos online, or find some "sewing
piping" tutorials on sewing sites.

Two piece coller
INTRODUCTION:
One thing that’s different about this method is that we make the collar first,
before sewing the collar stand. We don’t make a collar+stand unit and
attach that to the neckline either. Instead we make the collar, then attach
the stand to the shirt, then insert the collar into the stand.

Coin pocket
INTRODUCTION:
Originally one of the four pockets on Levi’s first jeans in 1873 , the small pocket on the
front right hip was called a watch pocket. It let cowboys, miners, and other workers
9. safely carry and protect their pocket watches. At the turn of the 20th century, pocket
watches fell out of style and became obsolete. As a result, the jeans were refreshed in
1901 with a few notable changes.

Welt pocket
INTRODUCTION:
Welt pockets often have the bad reputation as being scary and difficult to sew. While it
might take a little while to make perfectly square corners and until the origami folds
become second nature, they really aren't that difficult...it is just a matter of doing the
right step at the right time.

Front fly zipper
Introduction:
Zipper-flies are very popular in ready-to-wear clothing. If you have basic sewing
supplies, a fly zipper, and a pattern for a skirt or a pair of pants, you should be able to
sew a fly zipper with a little patience. Take your time and, when necessary, consult your
pattern. While most people can install a fly zipper with some dedication, the process can
be a bit complicated if you’re doing it for the first time

15. THE END
INTRODUCTION OF SEWING
A sewing machine is a machine used to stitch fabric and other materials together
with thread. Sewing machines were invented during the first Industrial Revolution
to decrease the amount of manual sewing work performed in clothing companies.
Since the invention of the first working sewing machine, generally considered to
have been the work of Englishman Thomas Saint in 1790, the sewing machine has
greatly improved the efficiency and productivity of the clothing industry
