Definition:
● Formal and usually written requests for something (such
as a job, admission to a school, etc.) is known as
application.
● A document that is used to make a formal request for
something is known as Application.
● The process of writing a document that is used to make
a formal request for something is known as Application
Writing.
● For Example: We write an application to our Sir for
requesting to give us permission to excuse for not coming
and also telling the reason for absence.
In application writing , we write a greeting addressing to
anyone. While writing an application we include a sentence on
telling the reason for your writing the application.Application
also provides information about anything and it is written in
formal form. E.g. Sir , Manager of company , Organization
to organization,etc.
