This document compares the basic tasks and functions of three operating systems: Windows 7, Apple iOS 9, and Android Marshmallow. It outlines how each OS handles running and organizing applications, managing users, and performing common operations like copying, moving, deleting, cutting and pasting files and text. For example, in Windows 7 you double click an application to run it, while in iOS 9 and Android you tap an app icon. To organize files, in Windows 7 you can drag and drop or sort by properties, in iOS 9 you move shaking apps, and in Android you drag apps to create folders or uninstall.
