BELFOR Fresno received the 2016 National Chrysalis Award for returning the historic Hanford Fox Theatre to its pre-loss condition after a partial ceiling collapse. BELFOR stabilized the structure, allowing engineers to assess the damage and develop a repair plan. Reconstruction and code upgrades were implemented in phases while maintaining the historic character of the 87-year-old theatre. The successful restoration of this community landmark demonstrated BELFOR's expertise in historic preservation following disasters.

community treasure to its pre‐loss glory.
Fresno mobilized for a par al ceiling collapse at the historic
Hanford Fox Theatre. A load bearing truss failed at a pilaster
connec on, dropping nearly eight inches, and causing a 30’ x
20’ sec on of lath and plaster to crash
down onto the auditorium floor.
BELFOR stabilized the structure so that the
