plant newsletter, that was key to maintaining our union-free status and was recognized as a strength in an ISO audit.
• Created a production-based incentive program that resulted in meeting and/orexceeded all production goals.

• Re-established salaried accountability through performance assessments and performance improvement programs .
• Re-energized absenteeismprograms for production employees, which reduced absenteeismto the lowest levels in NA.
• Established an hourly performance assessment program recognized by the corporate office as a best practice.
• Organized highly successfulfocus groups that addressed employee survey results and significantly improved
communication, performance, supervisory skills, and new employee orientation.
• Partnered with the Department of Labor and our employees in order to implement a “Shared Work Layoff” lasting six
months where every production employee worked a reduced schedule, which resulted in zero loss of employees.
