Charter
 The projected enrollment for the 2014-2015 Cincinnati
State school year is 11,500 students.
 The proposal is to acquire the vacant lot at 3667
Central Parkway, demolish the existing structure and
to create additional overflow parking.
 The current number of parking spaces is 2,153 which is
insufficient to accommodate the enrollment growth.
Scope Overview
 This project will initiate additional parking at 3667
Central Parkway for Cincinnati State.
 This will include approximately 100 additional spaces
to allow for the projected 11,500 enrollment for the
2014-2015 academic year.
Project Scope Overview
 This project will design, develop and implement
additional parking for students, faculty, and staff. This
project will incorporate a work flow process that will:
 Demolish and level land for blacktop
 Install access entrance and exit gate
 The purpose of this parking lot is to relieve overflow
parking of students and staff. These additional parking
spaces will relieve stress of students and faculty and
can then increase overall productivity by:
 Increasing spaces for parking
 Providing a convenient location

Lessons Learned
1. Budgeting time
2. Separating the “Substance from the Style”
3. Communication and process of dividing work and working together
4. The overall level of detail that a project requires
5. Verbal brainstorming did not work well for our group
 We found that working on items individually and coming back
together as a group was more beneficial
 Suggestions:
A. Set aside time to get to know your team members, this will prove
more productive in learning each member’s learning, working and
communication style.
B. We found that it was easier to contribute information while in-
person meetings – after having time to work on individual items.
